Where do they ripple?
Sorry if this is a stupid question. I've lost a bit of weight pre-BA and plan on losing a bit more after. I've been told this can increase the chance of rippling. What I'm wondering is where does it ripple?
Somewhere obvious like the cleavage or is it hidden underneath? Just wondering what I should look out for. Also how long does it take? And are there other known causes of rippling?
Is there anything u can do to prevent it?
I'm going under on 3rd April for 410 overs CUI
Thanks xx

Re: Where do they ripple?
Many women have some degree of rippling that they can feel when bending forward but its not visible and this is very normal.
I have some rippling when bent forward that I can see ever so slightly just above my incisions but would have to point it out for others to notice & as I am not likely to be out and about topless and bent over it doesn't worry me...lol
I would advise that you watch your weight. The more weight you lose the more chance of the rippling becoming visible if you lost too much weight. Its always advised by surgeons to maintain weight post-op so if you do lose a lot of weight and see rippling a revision more likely become your responsibility. XXX

Re: Where do they ripple?
Rippling is an inevitability, its physics. You've got a liquid in a flexible container, there is going to be some rippling. Most girls can only feel this when they lean forwards, and I believe it tends to be on the sides (mine is only the outer sides). Its when it becomes visible that its an issues.
There are preventative measures in the type & placement of implant you choose, but you cant stop it. Maintaining weight is also key. I would say if you still have a fair amount that you want to lose, wait until you're happy before booking.

You can get it in the cleavage, and you can prevent it worsening by maintaining a steady weight. Natrelles are less likely to ripple than CUI's too. But a lot of women have rippling, it's just not visible.
