Hi girls, basically trying to work out on what date will I be 3 months post op (so I know when I can start wearing bras). I had my op on 15th jan, basic sence tells me that I'll be 3 months p/o on 15th April. However when I count the weeks, so 12 weeks it says I'm 12 weeks p/o on 9th April (which is a weeks earlier, and if I get to wear bras a week earlier then don't wana have to wait!!) Can someone work it out for me please, I'm getting all confused! Thanks girls! Xxx

Some months have 5 weeks in them so that's why it would work out a week earlier if you do it by weeks Rather than the actual date. I am not really sure which one you should go by to be honest as I am only 6 days post op and not worrying about proper bras yet, but for me I would go by the date.  Will you be having a 3 month check? If so I would wait until you have had that and got the all clear from your surgeon / nurse. Xx

I went by weeks. So 6wk band, 8wk bra, 12wk check up, not by month. I would say go by the exact instruction your surgeon has given you, so whether he said 12wk or 3month
