Hi babe,
I think I read a post yesterday about a women having an uplift without implants, I will try and find it and post you the link so you can have a look. What type of uplift are you having, babe? Do you WANT implants even though your surgeon said you didn't need them? Xx

Re: Breast uplift no implants??
Hey Ruby,
I had an Uplift, no implants 8 months ago, apparently I was a GG cup before, and I'm now an E cup. So although I am smaller, they are so much firmer and pert! Totally worth the op, I had a full anchor lift so I do have scarring, but I would do all over again tomorrow. Feel free to ask any questions...the girls were all amazing here when I was a newbie like you last summer...

Re: Breast uplift no implants??
I'm having my implants out in just under 4 weeks and not having any more put back in. I an however having a lift and was wondering what the recovery was like for you eddy787? I've got 4 kids so bit worried about how ill cope. My youngest is 20 months but still needs lifting in and out of cot etc so slightly concerned about stuff! My husbands off for ten days so I'll be ok to start with but then I'm on my own! What was the pain like and when did you start driving again? I've not idea what bra to buy for after either as I was an a to start with and I'm now an e/f. Will a macom fit tiny A boobs?!! Sorry for all the questions and to high jack the original post! X

Re: Breast uplift no implants??
Hi Kathryn,
Good luck for 3 and half weeks time!
I had no pain whatsoever with my uplift but you should defo be taking it easy for two weeks at least, and by that I mean no lifting, no stretching, your wounds cannot be stretched in any way so you will have to refrain from lifting your youngest. I was driving at two weeks and the seat belt was extremely sensitive across the chest. I highly recommend a Macom, I bought two in small and I still wear them now overnight to keep my boobs pert! They are great at holding you securely and comfortably, I wouldn't have done without them. If you check the Macon website it will tell you what size a small covers. Are you having a full anchor or just lollipop? With anchor it's the T junction under each boob that will be the difficult to heal so the more rest the better. Xxx

Re: Breast uplift no implants??
Hi Ruby, your surgeon must feel you have enough natural breast tissue of your own to fill out the breast and give you look you're wanting without the need for an implant.
I actually went smaller and had a full anchor lift although I did reduce in implant size and didn't go without.
What I can tell you is that the fullness you get from an uplift is amazing and although 'in my case' they're smaller than my old boobs they actually look so much better and the fullness you achieve from a lift is incredible.
Have you discussed sizing with your surgeon is you're concerned about them being smaller? Possibly taken in some pics of the look you like?
If you haven't, then its not to late to go through any sizing issues you have with your surgeon. Is extremely common for women for to have two or three consultations with their surgeon pre-op to ensure their happy with the surgery plan intended. So if you are overly concerned about anything at all Ruby, then do call and arrange for that second consultation armed with pics (many women find the look they want in lads mags such as nuts or zoo, or there's a thread as a sticky in the General Breast Augmenation section with pics for newbies....you may find a look you like from there to print off and take with you.
Checking all boxes pre-op Ruby, helps makes this all so much easier post-op babe.
Any more questions please just ask.

I wouldn't worry about 'pain' its more of a discomfort you'll experience rather than pain. Having four kids you'll remember all too well that full, hard engorged feeling you experienced when your milk kicks in, well, this is very similar. Your boobs will be very swollen and will feel hard, they'll feel warm and may throb, similar to the feeling when your baby cries and your boobs react in that throbbing aching way.
Looking after your kids may prove difficult especially with the youngest being so young but there are ways around it.
I'm presuming the baby is walking at 20 months? So they won't need carrying around the house. If the cry, come down to them on the floor and cuddle down there with a pillow between you and the baby, just so you don't get any unintentional knocks (they hurt). Bed times, again, you can makeshift a bed downstairs until you're stronger and fully able to lift the baby. At 20 months this is a big baby so it could be a while till you're able to comfortably lift them so just be prepared for that.
Making a make-shift bed may not be the best 'for you' when you want the baby in bed so me can have her time, but its a matter of doing what needs done till you're healed sweetheart and preventing any lifting for you.
I'm sure you're fully aware of all that though and it soon does pass.
Generally its going to be anything between one to two weeks before you'll be able to drive. Possibly longer for some women, so its a case if 'play it by ear' and not putting pressure upon yourself to get yourself driving by specific dates.
With having an uplift you're going to be wanting a bra that's 'seamless' the Macom mentioned by eddy is a good one and that's your preference then using MYBREAST in the promo code box will get you 15% off from the Macom site.
I personally preferred M&S's front zip bras. For me they were really comfortable and not as 'grannyish' as other bras 'I personally found'.
So you've a couple of choices there to choose from Kathryn
