I'm going back to work after 11 days (I only work 2 days a week though) - looking after the kids once hubby is out at work will probably b harder!!!

11 days to go - gotta try & sort all my finance out tomorrow as I think the hospital will want paying next week!!!

It's coming round quick now

Yeah went ok - all the norm blood tests etc.
didn't realise they did a pregnancy test!!!! Lol

It's made it all seem very real - I get really nervous & then look at pics of other people's great boobs and think yeah it's all gonna b worth it!!!
Haven't really told my mum the date that I'm going in!!

11 days - not long for you now - eeekkkk

Thanks girls, they have felt sore today to be honest , really need to keep on top of painkillers because I left a big gap earlier and man did I know about it when it started wearing off!! Taken some more cocodsmol now & feeling much better!!

Yes I did a pregnancy test before BA yesterday the nurse said they have had 3 ladies in the last month who came back as positive so they don't take any chances with anyone as they can be seen as at fault and nt worth the risk!! Imagine finding out you were pregnant on the day !!

Not long now ladies !! So exciting ! xx

I didn't have to do a preg test, I did a wee sample though so maybe they did! X

Yes I think they used mine to check for UTI and pregnancy so nurse was saying xx

I'm off for 11 days only do 3 evenings a week. Hubby is taking a week off as got 3 kids so will need help with them.

What painkillers do they send you home with? Xx

I got cocodamol to take for 3 days and flucoxacillin anyibiotivs hon xxx

How are you feeling today? I'm so nervous about the pain afterwards. I'm having unders and have read the recovery is harder. Xx

Sorry for butting in! I had unders and so far they haven't been that painful... just hard to catch my breath but when I've had my meds (2xcodeine and 2xparacetamol) I am a lot more relaxed and therefore I can breathe easier. I'm only PO day 2 so pain should get worse either tomorrow or the day after (So I hear D:) starting to feel pain by my incisions where my bra band is cutting in and I'm just generally achey xxx

Pain hasn't been so bad today but the medicines make me feel nauseous , I had overs, glad I didn't have unders as I think I would of struggled with the pain xx

Ooh will go fast!! My next countdown is to my check up Wednesday ! Not even had a proper look at them yet and it's killing me ! You will be fine with the pain hon try not to worry about it xx

5 more sleeps for me!!!

I'm off work for 12 days post op, I'm worried about flying back to Dublin for work, lifting my bag and stuff but I'm sure I'll get through it?!

The scary thing is not knowing how I'm going to feel and as
I'm not telling people I have to keep making up stories which is getting tiring haha!!

I have just woke up with a stinking hangover but going to take it easy for the rest of the weekend and drink loads of water!! This time next week I'll be 2 days post op aaarrrrgggghhhhhh xx

I'm nervous too every time I think about it I get a pain in my boobs argh!
Keep having dreams about it too and they r not good dreams. Just want to get it over with. Xx

Who's next?
Had a bit of an emotional weekend was crying thinking omg I really can't do this I'm so nervous mainly of the pain afterwards (I'm such a wimp). Also I have 3 little ones and even though my hubby is taking time off keep thinking I won't be able to look after them properly. Anyway feeling better today and have got that excited feeling back yay! X
