healed ladies: implant movement
So for everyone who's had their implants for a while, how much do they move?
My left one is bigger than the right and I'm waiting for a revision but the pocket hasn't been mentioned, and I'm concerned about that because when I lie down my implant is practically in my armpit! advice/experiences will be appreciated

Re: healed ladies: implant movement
I'm really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your implants!! I don't have this problem at all I'm afraid so I can't offer any helpful advice. However, I just want to wish you the best of luck if you have a re-op and I hope you eventually get your perfect boobs! It sounds terrible that your left implants moves around.
Let us know how you get on and I hope it all settles and gets resolved for you, honey!!
Take care, xxxxx

Hey laura. Im not as far along as you, or quite as bit, but they don't move that much when I lie down. Did you raise this problem with your surgeon at the time? If not Id definitely go back and show him the issue your having and try and see if theres anything to be done. It could be that you need to change from mods to high profile so theyre not as wide?

Re: healed ladies: implant movement
I have unders so don't think you get as much movement when lying down as overs, which I think move more naturally. Hopefully someone with overs will be along soon to advise you, do mention it to the surgeon when you see him next, if the pocket has been made too big initially
it may be something he will need to correct during your revision. XXX

Re: healed ladies: implant movement
I'm sorry you are having problems with this.
I have overs and mine don't tend to move much, although i'm not as far along as you.
Is it just on your left side? It is perfectly normal for the implants to shift, but if it's just on one side and it's significant then you may have an issue with your breast pocket. This can arise due over dissection during surgery or it stretching for some reason. From what i've read, it's very fixable - so speak to your surgeon and make him aware that this needs addressing as part of your revision.
Good luck with everything xxx

Re: healed ladies: implant movement
thanks for your replies :) I have mentioned that my implant moves a lot, and yeah it is just the left side. ive emailled my PCC today about the pocket revision and she probs wont reply as she's pretty useless but I'll definitely be persistent about getting this problem sorted out as well as the size. I think I'll have to go back and have further consultations about what I want from my re-op.
Those of you who read about how my surgeon treated me the last time i saw him will know that I'm NOT looking forward to seeing him again... wish I'd gone with someone else :(

Hey hun I'm almost 5 year post op. I also have overs. Mine do move towards my arm pits when I lie down giving me a huge gap in the middle, but non BA boobs do that as well.
