Re: are pretty maternity bras good for post ba?
hi hun,
from what i've read on here, maternity bras are not at all suitable for post surgery as they are not firm/ supportive enough.
you should either be wearing a post surgery bra like a macom, or a non-wired high impact or extra high impact sports bra to give your boobs that stability that they need while the implants are still adhering to the pockets x

I'd say maternity bras are fine, babe! If your nurse said you can wear normal bras then she musn't be concerned about you having a highly supportive bra. Why don't you try a couple of maternity bras on in a shop and see if they tick the boxes for comfort and support! :)
Take care, babe xxxx

ah sorry, i thought we were talking early post op!
well if you can wear normal bras now, then you can literally wear whatever you like :)
i wear wired tshirt bras for every day usage, my macom at night, and high impact sportsbras for exercise or when i feel a bit achey in the mornings (doesnt happen often).
but yes, whatever you feel most comfortable in hun! xx

Thanks I just have some lovely New dresses for Work but haven't been able to wear them as the sports bras show. I'm looking for a happy medium type bra x

If you want comfort without wires, then any bra would be fine. I love the royce range.
