When do they start to soften?
Hi i'm only a few days post op, but wondered when do they start to soften up? Because mine are like two large water melons at the moment!!
Absolutely love them though and they are being very firmly held in place in the sports bra.

Re: When do they start to soften?
for me when i had unders it took a good 6 months for them to go as soft as they were going to stay, which was still pretty firm.
with my overs they were so soft the very day i had them done, it was the first thing i noticed about them. however they did firm back up a bit as the days went on but are now softening again and i'm 6 weeks po.
xx

Re: When do they start to soften?
One feels slightly softer than the other, and i think i'm a bit scared of moving them at the moment. When i stand up, i hold them, when i sit down, i hold them,- just incase they fall off
Not needed to take any pain killers today, so thats fab and i haven't been that bloated, so having a good time at present.
Went out to a local indoor shopping centre today, walked around for a bit, but then one of my shoulders really started to hurt. Not sure if its the extra weight, or whether its the fact that i'm not standing right at the moment,- fell a bit hunched over and can't swing my arms freely because of the new friends. Sat down for a bit and had some lunch, then was fine again.

Re: When do they start to soften?
My overs felt soft pretty quickly but I noticed the main difference around the 5 week mark.

Re: When do they start to soften?
Mine were quite solid for about 2 weeks, then the left started to soften for a couple of hours and then go hard again. In the last couple of weeks they've both got really soft (left one was quicker though!)
They are so soft now that I was gently feeling them today at the top to see if the implant was still there or had slipped down cos I can't feel it at all and it all just feels like part of my breast tissue!

Re: When do they start to soften?
Got a bit of time to go then before they soften up. Take it also at around the 5/6 week mark they are then easier to manipulate into a underwired bra? Because at the moment mine seem fairly far apart with no movement in them.

Re: When do they start to soften?
They do, yes. Before the 5/6 week mark, I'd try bras on and they didn't even fit properly as my boobs were high up and still swollen and I couldnt move them into the cups properly.
Now though, they are very soft and I can push them up in my bra to get a great cleavage. I haven't had any discomfort from wearing underwired bras either now

I agree with Paula...once you set them free and they start to settle more naturally and become more movable. But it continues......as you notice when someone here asks..... and you have to check and get a pleasant surprise

Re: When do they start to soften?
Cool,- looking forward to that day,- one is more softer than the other, which has quite a hard ridge. Went out in the car today (as a passenger) and felt good to feel them wobbling around a bit,- proper boobies!!!
