Woken up this morning with the sniffles and a sore throat. My op is Thursday so I need to shift it but don't know what I can take. What meds can I take or what can I do to shift it?? X

Try the good old hot water honey and fresh lemon and Vicks on ur chest and feet, yes feet lol xx

No ibuprofen or asprin paracetamol is fine apparently.

If its just the sniffles, you should be fine. Plenty of Vit C (orange juice, no supplements), proteins to keep your strength up, and vix to help clear it. If it gets any worse though, go and see your GP, because they wont operate if its a full on infection.
