Newbie looking for anyone with similar experience!
Hi!
Not been on one of these forums before but want to say Hello and hope to get some good advice from you guys.
Saving to have Nipple Correction (inverted) and BA (size C to DD) in early June at a clinic in Tunisia! Lots of planning but very excited!!
If anyone has had similar op would love to hear (English surgeon or not!)

Hello!
I have a friend who was recommended by her mother in law who has been going to the same place for years!
Apparently it's brilliant and they really look after you, plus it's half the cost!

If you type nipple correction or inverted nipples in the search bar you should find some threads that may help with more detail.

Re: Newbie looking for anyone with similar experience!
hi hun, welcome to the forum I hope you find all the info here valuable.
Im not an advocate of surgery abroad.
There is no such thing as a bargain boob job. with surgery abroad you have no idea of the surgeons qualifications and the standards they use.
many are general doctors or surgeons if that.
and for me I would never pay anything to a surgeon or clinic I havnt even met in person.
things like your stats and examining your breasts for placement, size etc. needs to be done in person by someone you trust.
what implants do they use. ?
and a massive thing of aftercare. how is your aftercare done? check ups or heaven forbid any complications arose, such as CC, bottoming out, hematoma, symasstia,.
woud you be covered, you would have to fund flights and accommodation yourself.
you cannot put a price on your body and for something as big as breast surgery. a bapas registered surgeon in the uk is going to far outweigh any surgeon abroad.

Re: Newbie looking for anyone with similar experience!
Hi and welcome!
I had mine done in Prague, cost me £2400 including pre-op examination, bra, tights, night stay etc. and I wouldn't have it any other way. I fully trusted my surgeon who only saw my pictures before, and on the day of the surgery. But because he had such great recommendations from friends, not just him, the whole clinic, I wasn't in doubt at all.
I always said that if I'd worried about some issue, I'd pop for check up here to a different consultant with my paperwork, and if there would be the need of re-op I'd deal with my surgeon then.
I wish you good luck! Xxx

For me I wouldn't hand a penny over to a surgeon or clinic I've never even met, or let alone hadn't examined my boobs in person.
I'm sorry but how can you fully trust someone you've never met, and to have him perform surgery on you. After seeing just pictures? ?
Recommendations are fine however what are his credentials and qualifications.? how many women were unhappy or suffered complications youll never know.
I'm glad you're happy and are healing well. X

As I said this clinic has such great recommendations, and so many people from Germany, Russia and UK are travelling there. Also local celebrities, and my family's friends. I've checked him up online as well. And found out that Czech Republic is a nest of plastic surgery and good plastic surgeons.
If I had doubts I wouldn't even consider this place. You can have a look yourself - perfectclinic.cz/en

Re: Newbie looking for anyone with similar experience!
You're one of the lucky ones Ann.
Its FACT that between 25-35% of women seeking surgery abroad have to see our surgeons here for corrective produres see HERE
We've also seen quite a few women here also who have struggled to gain contact with their surgeon when they've had worries or concerns after surgery and we've also seena worse with a woman here having an infection and not being able to get to her surgeon in time, she'd already returned to the country once 'to her cost' for treatment of the infection, but the infection wasn't swabbed to find out which kind of infection they were dealing with, so the wrong anti-bs were given which resulted in the implant hanging out of her breast leaving her at the mercy of the NHS here and they show no mercy for cosmetic surgery - they simply have a duty if care to ensure your saftey and well being, so they remove the problem (this being the implant) clean you up, stitch you up and send you home with one boob - true story.
So please, please, please as mrsball and Tink have suggested, do your homework and weigh up all the pros and cons because a bargain boob job could result in it being a big money boob job costing you far more in having to pay all over again for revision with a surgeon here in the uk.
I'm glad you're happy Ann and LJay, please take your time hun. Do your homework and choose what's right for you... Whatever that might be - we're right here for ya babe.
There have been a few ladies here with inverted nipples and all surgeries for this have been successful hun, so I hope this has made you feel a little better about that. X

Re: Newbie looking for anyone with similar experience!
Thank you so much, i have actually posted again as i have completely changed my mind after seeing a UK clinic this weekend. They made me realise the pros of UK surgery massively way out the cons and the pros of surgery abroad just dont match the UK.
So thank you ladies for answers on both sides of the coin, but i have now decided id rather be in the comfort of my home during recovery etc and am meeting Mr Traynor at MYA MAnchester next Thursday.
LJay xx

Good luck LJay! I'm certainly no advocate for surgery abroad, it worked for me. But it's good you found a clinic, and hopefully the right surgeon in UK!
