Cancelled

Hi girls just wanted to let you all know that I have cancelled my ba for end of January. It was partly as I'm just not ready and felt that it was too big a decision to not feel 100 percent, I think if you want something enough it should override the nerves but it just wasn't. The main thing Is I'm giving myself six month off of thinking/looking/ generally everything re boobs and if in the 6 months time I am still feeling the need to get my boobs sorted then il come back to it. If that's the case them I'm defo having the full uplift and implant and know the surgeon I'm using.

It's been quite an emotional journey so far but iv learnt so much and wanted to say thanks so far for all your help and support,

I'm sure il be on and off curious to people's experiences.

Aw Doughty, thats a shame. But Im so glad that you took a step back and realised you werent quite there yet. Its brave to book these things, but its also so brave to admit that maybe its not the best decision for you at this time. Take you're time to re-asses - it was 2.5yrs between my first consult and eventually having it done! You have to do whats right for you. And if you do decide in the future to go ahead - we'll still be here to support you :)

We will be here wen you are ready! Sounds like you have a sensible head on your shoulders, in that you can say you are not ready & take a step back.

Thanks girls, it's prob better when it's been a long term thought but I jumped a little too quick I think. But I am a very worried type so I do tend to hold myself back and a little too sensible for my own good :) hey Jen I tried again with instagram, think I'm getting old and can't even work out new websites lol! But thanks for ur help and I did manage to take a look at ur pics on your story page and ur looking fab hun! xxx good luck krizzoo, il b back to see how u got on :)

aw thats a shame however like the others have said im glad that you are taking a step back and not just jumping in when you are feeling like you do

it will come round so quickly though so enjoy the rest of the journey and research xx

Boobs were always on my wish list...only took me 20 years and more to do something about it...lol XXX

Aw babe! I'm sorry to hear you're full of nerves :( But, to be honest, you need to know in your own heart and mind that you're 100% sure so I really admire you for taking a step back. Implants aren't going anywhere.. Neither is our support or guidance, honey! So, relax, do your thorough research, reflect on how you feel in yourself and your own confidence. We'll be here for you the whole time, throughout you journey! Even if you decide a BA isn't for you, still continue to stay in touch on here because you've been lovely!! U sound v sensible, it really is best to be 100% certain u want to go ahead with BA. Take some time to reflect and as the girls say, a BA will still be there for u, as will ur Boobie buddies here! Dxx

Hey Doughty .... oh I was only thinking today I'd not heard from you and was wondering how you were getting on.. I can only repear what everyone has said .. I think like you its such a big decision.. especially if like me too I think alot ! but I also think its one of those things that if you really want it .. one day you'llbe like right I'm having this and it will be 100% right.. so you made the right choice for now .. good luck with your research.. would you still have Garrick ? You know I had to cancel mine too .. !! so we could be both having them done again with him in the future as I've yet to find a surgeon in Oz with his credentials ... good luck and I know I'll still be on here regardless as I love seeing how everyones getting on and such a lovely bunch of ladies so keep in touch xx

Ahh good for you hun-it is a big decision to make so you do need to be 100% sure it is for you-it's much easier to change your mind and get them done if you feel that's what you want at a later date :) xx

aww doughty - you are definately doing the right thing.

I think we all go through to may emotions with making the decision, choosing the right surgeon, size, placement, op, healing - it all got a bit much for me at times and i just had to take a step back.

I will be 100% honest I am not dissapointed with my new boobs but 4wweks post op I am still not in love with them and I am hoping when the settle more i begin to fall in love with them.

I think for me it was because i felt i had a nice 'wee' chest before the op and i felt comfortable naked but i wanted to feel and look good in a bikini or wee tops in the summer and buying a dress and filling it with the HUGE padded bras

Just you take you time and make sure you do it for thr right reasons for 'you'

Hi girls sorry for the slow response, my hubby has sort of banned me from any more boob research lol! I'm still researching but as said hv taken a step back and taking time to really think things through. I'm v grateful to all of u for ur kindness and support and will be popping in to say hello etc as I think il still b learning from all your journeys x

You've made the absolute right decision 'for you' Doughty and I admire that you have recognised you weren't 100% into this 'right now' and needed more time to absorb all the information and take in the imminent changes that come from having a BA.
