boobies shrinking?
Hi, girls!
I think i'm having a very down week this week. As some of you know i'm very down about uni and now i've jist had a shower and i'm starting to believe that my boobs are shrinking? They look much smaller than yesterday and i feel like i want a BA! I've only just had my BA so thisnis ridiculous :( i genuinely don't feel like my boobs are even big anymore and i'm so depressed :(
I need help from you all and for you to all reassure me that they'll eventually drop and fluff.
:( my nurse said that they'll drastically change following two weeks post op and i've already crossed that 2 week mark now and still can't see any difference (other than them looking smaller)..
Arghhh!!
Thank you, girls xxxxx

Re: boobies shrinking?
Bless you! You are certainly not alone. I have read lots of posts since I have been a member here of ladies saying very similar things.
It really is a case of patience, patience and more patience. That's funny me saying that as I am the worlds worst!!!!!!
You are possibly months and months away from how you will finally look after all the healing and settling is done.
Soon enough they will lose the pointy Madonna look and take on a more natural boob shape. I remember having these solid torpedoes stuck on my chest wondering what on earth I had done!! Now, I am very happy and think I still have changes to come. Once they settle and fill out under your nipples they will look more voluptuous I am sure. Try not to analyse them for a little while and hopefully you will see more drastic changes. I didn't look at myself without a bra on for nearly a month as I just got myself paranoid and anxious.
Chin up hunny

Re: boobies shrinking?
Big hugs Hun, hope you're feeling better about things soon. I must have missed something re Uni?
Like the others have said its prob swelling that's gone, which is a good thing I guess.
I keep thinking mine aren't big enough, but then I think what I had before and think any bigger would look daft and give me more back ache!!
Hugs xxx

Aw babe, you're really going through it today Hun aren't you. Right you need to have an early night (a big glass of water, lol), & put this day behind you, tomorrow is a new day, oh & have a quick look at your pre BA pic, oh & the label size of your bra you're currently wearing. Remember from reading posts on here, going too big at first can lead to potential complications, if you feel in a few yrs you want to go bigger again you've got youth on your side to do it.x

Re: boobies shrinking?
No problem petal. I currently measure 28f/30ff. Before babies I was measured as 30dd, sometimes and e, and even tho I lost nearly all volume and upper pole after feeding, apparently, when I got measured again before my BA I was still that size, but my bra was half empty as my boobs just sank to the bottom.
In truth, I posted recently to say I can't see much difference between month 1 and month 5 photos, just a bit of filling out, but after more thinking since my post, my skin did not have to stretch to accommodate the implant as it was already there waiting to be filled again so I probably had a more natural shape earlier than other ladies that went from no boobs to boobs as their skin had to stretch with the new volume inside. I don't have a huge amount of profile even tho my upper pole has been restored ( I had moderate profile unders), but then I didn't before - I have always had more "wide" boobs than "sticky outy"!! And I have been assured by ladies on here that I still have lots of room for changes over the coming months as final results can take a year. I will probably go to be measured again next month to see if I am still in the right size bra as I was measured at 6 weeks PO and have not been back since.
Sorry for rambling and I'm not sure his much help that is!
Xx

Re: boobies shrinking?
Oh hunny, you're still so early post op.
The breasts will change shape however it's physically impossible to lose any volume of the implant. It just takes on a more natural shape.
It's more months you'll see the chnages, if you do a pic trial or do a pic a week taken in the same postions, you'll see how they change for the better!
Sports bras do nothing for your boobs right now (looks wise I mean!) once they dropped and fluffed in a wired bra you'll see their full potential.
How are you looking at your boobs also? Funny question you may think however when you're looking at them downwards or even in a mirror sometimes you don't see what others do. Take pictures Hun they give a much better picture of how they really look. X

Re: boobies shrinking?
Oh Tiger .. I've missed out on the Uni chat so not sure what's happening with you there ? I'd love to help if I can .. and re your boobs shriking I'm sure like the girls on here have said its just all the swelling going down .. they look great even though your only a few weeks post op so I'd be really pleased with them ! I think Soosie is right too .. maybe the anlge your looking at them etc .. but also I'm sure it's just there going through the settling process to so will soften and drop etc which is all really really good ! Sending a big bug and hope tomorrow is a brighter day xx

Re: boobies shrinking?
I've lost 6lbs of fluid retention in the week since having my BA , at one point I really thought my boobs were going to explode , starting to settle now . I appreciate they'll drop so I suppose I've no idea what shape they'll end up .
Pre BA : 34B (barely)
Post BA : 36DD
Expected :34D
255cc with a fairly generous projection xx

Re: boobies shrinking?
Girls, you really know how to make me feel better. I'd reply to all of you individually but i'll only end up saying thank you a thousand times! You've all really helped me a hell of a lot today. I'm going to take all of your brilliant advice and get an early night and look at tomorrow as a new day. I'm also going to take pics of my boobs from different angles.. I've been thinking and there scientifically has to be a significant difference after having 340cc!! I must just be looking at them and seeing something different because i'm generally feeling like poo :(
Thanks all of you!!! Xxxxxx

Re: boobies shrinking?
2Weeks is nothing in terms of healing. Sometimes these nurses come out with the oddest things. At 2wks mine were still stuck on melons. It wasnt until around 4wk that I noticed a change, and 12wk until they had dropped mostly. Im now just gone 7m and tbh, i think theyve fluffed again and I need to be re-measured! There are soo many changes to happen, and all for the good. All the ladies are right - fluid retention, swelling, even the angle you're looking at them can all make them seem smaller. But think of the physics. You've added 340cc of volume into each breast - theyre definitely bigger! Your muscles and skin may just be taking a little longer to stretch. Be patient, take lots of pics, and look back at wk12 - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
