Need a virtual hug ...
Hey my lovely boobie friends ....
It's looking like I'll have to cancel my BA which was booked for this Friday the 10th ... the plans/support I had put in place to allow me to travel down to London, stay over 2 nights .. 1 night before and 1 night post op and then the help thereafter during recovery are just not viable anymore due to sudden family circumstances... Means I'd have to go down on my own .. and the clinic I don't think would allow me to travel back on my own all that way too and not sure I'd even feel up to.. could imagine me passing out on the train or something !
So unless a miracle happens I'll just have to keep following you all on here and take up my search when I get to Oz, this Friday was the latest I could have it with the move and long flight end Feb.
I'm pretty gutted ... whilst I've had the ususal doubts and fears I was ulitimately so so excited and had got myself to that point of I'm doing this ... so it's hard to let go .. epsecially when I had the most confidence I think I could get in a Surgeon..
I don't think anyone who knew I was going to have this understands how gutted I feel .. its just a oh well ...
so not giving up entirely ....just maybe have to be a different time .. a different place ...

Oh so sorry to read this Hun,
I believe in fate however and maybe at this moment in time it's not your time.
No the clinic won't allow you to travel back on your own. And glad you realise that it probably won't be the best idea.
I can understand how hard it just be to have your plans not cancelled but put on hold as it were.
And for something that means so much to you.
But please don't give up, if it happens it happens this Friday however if it doesn't , doesn't mean it's not going to , just put on hold till you get out to oz. are you off to live out there ? X

Oh hun im so sorry. But you have to believe that these things happen for a reason. Maybe it wasnt the right time for you. But best wishes that everything turns out ok

The girls are right hun, maybe this is a sign that you're not meant to be going through such a major op so close to a big life change. Sending you a big cyber hug, how exciting though to be emigrating to Australia, a whole new chapter lies ahead full of new adventures, now that's going to be an amazing distraction to help get over your disappointment. Good luck.xxx

oh no feel sorry for you! does the company your having your ba with offer transport? I had my ba with transform and they gave me free cheaffeur driven transport from Cardiff to London I stayed overnight and then they gave me transport back the next day free of charge. (I went on my own also) Hope you figure something out but if not its not the end of the world just a slight halt in your plans!

Re: Need a virtual hug ...
thats a really good idea actually willows!! also for the recovery if you could have someone, anyone in the house with you for that one night, you really can rearrange all the things you need in the house for your recovery, I was in the house on my own both times from day 2 from 8.30am - 4.30pm or later and I managed just fine and my first BA I really did struggle pain wise and was exhausted as I never slept much but it is managable
