soooo itchy!
Argh its driving me crazy! I had the dressings changed on my incisions today and ever since, my left incision has been so itchy! I know scars itch when they are healing but is there anyway to stop it? I feel like I have bugs in my bra! xx

Re: soooo itchy!
Babe, i wish i could answer your question but i'm afraid i'm a sufferer too! However, my itch is on my back, and due to my new boobs, I can't reach it! It's so annoying!
I did have itchy incisions the other day and I found that they did pass after about half an hour.
Good luck, sleep well, babe! Sorry i couldn't be of any help xxx

Re: soooo itchy!
Loratidine is non drowsy, Cetirazine is the normal ones. You can pick them both up from any supermarket, 7pills for about £1. Theyre just the name of the active ingredient, but without the brand to make them way more expensive! They'll likely be with the piriton etc. Also, Chemist Direct you can normally get 30pills for around £3, so if you find they work, stock up!.
Ice packs over the TOPS of your boobs will also help with the itching, it'll cool them down and feel lurvely. Also, keep around your bra nice and moisturised. Away from the scars, but under your arms and around your back where your bra would sit. You're going to be in that thing a long time, and your skin can dry out, so moisturising will help keep the itchys away.

Re: soooo itchy!
Ah thanks so much girls! I haven't gone out today- not brave enough to face the weather! But I might pop out tomorrow to get some :) its not my bra or boobs at the moment (although now I've said that it probably will be!) Its just my incisions. It was so bad last night that it was keeping me awake xx
