Flesh Tunnels along with BA
I'm hoping my surgeon will agree to reconstruct my earlobes during my operation for the Breast Augmentation (this is needed as a result of 16mm flesh tunnels). Do any of you ladies have any idea whether the surgeon will do this at the same time, and if so how much extra he might charge?
Hoping someone here might have an idea!
Thanks :)

Re: Flesh Tunnels along with BA
I know the clinic where I had my BA charge around £4/500 per lobe reconstruction but no idea whether it can be carried out at the same time .

Jeez! That's pretty steep. Hoping it would be no more than about £500 for both. Maybe that's wishful thinking, hey?!

Re: Flesh Tunnels along with BA
Yeah, I had both of mine stretched, as i say to 16mm but one randomly became infected after about 4 years of being fully healed. I had to take it out and re-stretch it. With the existing scar tissue this meant that they were very uneven and so I decided to take them out. One lobe was much lower and thinner than the other.
Yes there will be a scar but as with BA's dependent on how your body is with scarring they can pretty much become invisible over time :)

Re: Flesh Tunnels along with BA
Yeah I guess I have. I do think they look nice but i've kind of grown out of that urge to look "different". Don't get me wrong, it was never an attention thing I just liked the thought of having body modifications that were quite rare at the time. I have a more "professional" job now I suppose and aside from the asymmetry it's created I think my overall style is probably just a bit more girly now so it's time to get rid!
I have taken them out but (without wanting to be crude) without being sewn up, they look like a cats bum haha!

Re: Flesh Tunnels along with BA
A lot of ladies have more than one op at a time hun so you should be good, a lot of places will discount if you're having two at the same time if you ask! It's usually around 1k for both lobes, even body mod places that offer the service will charge you the same. As far as scaring they should heal up fairly nicely if you use micropore tape and mederma x
Re: Flesh Tunnels along with BA
ahh thanks Kay! yes I think I perhaps underestimated the cost. The surgeon i liked at the open evening said he could tell I was cheeky and he liked that so maybe I can be cheeky and ask him what the best he can do is?! haha.. He is a BAAP/BAPRAS surgeon though so don't think there's much room for negotiation there! Good boobs are the no. 1 priority though so... we'll see!

Re: Flesh Tunnels along with BA
If the surgeon is qualified to do the reconstruction, I dont see why you couldnt have it done at the same time. It may save some money too, as you'd already be under. The only way to know for sure is to speak with your surgeon about it and get your negotiating hat on!

Re: Flesh Tunnels along with BA
You defo have room to negotiate hun as the price includes anaestheisa and surgical centre/op room costs, you will have paid those all ready with your BA so get as cheeky as you like haha x
