Anyone had an implant lowered? Empty Anyone had an implant lowered?

Post by 2522laura 17th December 2013, 1:13 pm

Hi all. Been to see the nurse this afternoon because my right is still quite a bit higher than the left. She has given me massage techniques to try and get it to drop in to the pocket (which you can feel is empty) and suggested wearing the band again over the right breast and under the lower. She said to try this for a couple of weeks then see what the surgeon says when I see him on 8th Jan. I am 7 weeks PO tomorrow, is it realistic that it may still drop or likely I'll need another op? Thanks x

Hiya, sorry to hear your having problems with rightie, I'm sure cookie posted somewhere that she had to massage an implant to encourage it to drop and it worked!, hopefully she will be along to advise you more on this. XXX

hi i tried the massaging and the band over one boob for a few month and nothing BUT I did have CC and my muscles were just way too tight

I had a reop 3 weeks ago had a Capsulotomy for the CC my muscles cut and the impants lowered and tbh the recovery has been a doddle lol hardly any pain

But I am now back in my band 24/ til the 11th Jan when I see my surgeon, we spoke on the phone yesterday and this is MY plan

You are still considered early post op and im sure that one of Cookies didnt drop til she was around 12 weeks? o honestl dont worry it can take months xx

Thinks right it can take a while and the fact that you say there is the loose skin below the implant for it to drop into is encouraging! XXX
