Re: Aftercare,,,,,,
yeah princess ive learned from last time about picking the wee one up, and she is much more independant now, but when you have a 2 year old (she was last year) who needs to have daily physio due to health problems, its so so soo hard to neglect your maternal instinct and not do it or the one time she just fel from half way down the stair to the bottom its just instinct to pick her up, I was prob about 4 -5 weeks when I picked her up at that pint and was told not to til around 6 weeks
as for sex I was lying on my back and never moved and had my ports bra on the first time round last year I did email the surgeon and ask loool thats bad isnt it xx

LOL@you asking your surgeon!
sexy as hell isn't it when you think about it. We're all bouldered up, barely moving at all for fear of your boobs falling off, just to have a bit of nookie!
To Karen - the extent of sex by the way.... There's no big romance about it. You basically have to lay there propped up with pillows getting yourself in a comfy position and then screaming as you go "DONT TOUCH MY BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBS!" Hahahaha.
honestky hun. When its said the heart rate rises, its really not that much and there's no work involved from us 'whilst having intercourse' at all. We just lay there lol. Xx[/quote]

but yeah I just felt I needed "that" closeness from my husband lets face it we, well I did, felt rubbish after surgery, very unsexy and it made me feel better and Peter was not complaining haha xx

Agreed. I think all couples need that physical contact (when you feel up to it) it may not be great sex, but its just the closeness and intimacy between you both that matters isn't it. Xx
Re: Aftercare,,,,,,
yes def and i can understand how some girls might not even feel upto it weeks after and im not saying you need to have that to be close as a couple but Peter and I enjoy that closeness if that all makes sense xx

I've been trying to be really good especially with my worries I've got this time round. Have even denied my husband access for the whole 6 weeks bless him! Its been really hard and a horrible emotional rollercoaster this time round. Definitely not risking anything! Already concerned I have probs again! X
