Fed up......
Hey,
As the title says I'm fed up with everything at the moment - work is like being on a treadmill plus having to do longer hours to cover sickness at other practices (yesterday did a 8am til 8pm shift split between two practices).
Also fed up of my leftie as in a previous posti said it was aching and giving me pain - t feltlt better when I got into a normal bra I.e undrwired the pain went but now it's back and nothing helps it as it aches most of the time ( it started day 11 post op) have been to see surgeon on 26 nov and he reassured me evrything was fine, I had no pain at that appointment, have started back the gym but I know it isn't that as wear an extreme impact sports bra and sothey don't move!!!!
Going to wait til end of jan/beginning of feb to go see him again.
Sorry for the moan

Re: Fed up......
Rach, you've been given the all clear very early to get back to normality and although you may be healed very well on the outside, you're only 5 weeks into your healing on the inside. That's so, so early in your recovery hun so aching and pain still is VERY normal.
I'd personally give yourself a week or even two away from the gym, get yourself in a good quality high impact support bra 24/7 for a week or two if needed, keeping those boobs nice and stable and see how that goes sweetheart.
When they're aching like that stabilty of the breast and resting it really is the way to go hun.
Big hugs hun

Re: Fed up......
I'm only going the gym when I feel like now, but keeping to my training sessions as my trainer knows about my boobs and doesn't push me if I'm aching.
Alaoi think that my leftie hasn't been right from day 11 post op. Have put on my sports bra but the aching is still there - very weird.

Re: Fed up......
yeah thats what im saying if you dont feel its right (no one else can feel what you are feeling) I would personally cut down on anything too pushing on the body, even doing abs pulls on the chest muscles and the sports bra will keep them boobies in place but it wont stop all those muscles etc moving inside
i feel for you cause I know that you love your training lol i joke i joke your not crazy lol I couldnt get on a crosstrainer or treadmill for months last time and this time i wont be doing it for ages which Iwill find hard casue of the January gym rush lol xx

Re: Fed up......
Totally agree with Tink..... Give your body some time out to heal babe. When its hurting like that your body is crying out for you to rest it to allow it to heal and it really is so, so important to listen to your body.
Understandably you enjoy the gym and want to get back to it as soon as you can, but you've just had your boobs done hun and you have to put your priorities in order. What do you want more? Your boobs fully healed? Or continuance at the gym?
Your choice Rach, but I know which one I'd choose after spending all that money and waiting all that time for them....xxx

Re: Fed up......
I agree rach, maybe give it a rest or if you are going gym take it much slower, it takes up to 2 years to heal on the inside and although you may feel ok to go to the gym, your boobs are paying the price.
Hope you feel better soon but your still soooo early on in recovery and when your doing too much your boobs will defo tell you so! xx

Yeah, think you are right, but even at worki'm running around like a mad thing finding lab work, getting stock, etc for my surgery so I don't have to leave the eentist to go fetch things.
Ohhh an update ben wearing my zip front sports bra today and leftie is still aching :( it feels better when I don't wear my bra - how weird is that??

Re: Fed up......
I agree it's Cookie and Tink. I'm a gym fanatic but gonna leave it for few months to let my body heal.
I wouldn't forgive myself if I damaged something by going back too early

Re: Fed up......
It's awful that you're feeling down when you should be embracing your new additions! I'm sorry you feel like that :(
I think you may be trying to get back to reality a bit too soon.. And maybe spreading yourself too thin! Try and take it easy and don't work yourself too hard!
Good luck, honey! I hope you recover and feel better soon xxxx

Re: Fed up......
Hey,
Update my leftie is feeling back to normal now, what I think it is is the gym catching up with me a few days later.
