Update 4 months post op
Hi ladies. I just wanted to come on and give an update as to how I'm getting on 4 months post op.
I'm very much used to my new boobs now. Sometimes I look and think they look great, other times they look quite small, depends what mood I'm in haha! I've found the best bras for me are from VS, slight padding they really look good under my clothes. For everyday bras I've found Debenhams to be comfortable.
I think they have dropped - still a lot of upper pole but I think they will stay like this now - but who knows.
They still ache from time to time - especially in bed if I lie a certain way then roll over I can feel them a bit, not pain just achey. I've been going to the gym and doing some arm exercises so maybe this doesn't help. I was given the go ahead by the ps tho!
My sensation has not fully returned and they are still a bit on the hard side, but definitely softer than they were in the beginning. I'm being patient and just giving them the time they need. My scars are coming on well, much lighter now and less red, so hopefully they continue to heal nicely.
Overall I am pleased with my boobies and look forward to the day my sensation returns and they soften up more. Fingers crossed !

Aww great to hear from you!! :D
I'm 3 months and mine have been achey recently too so I've been told to slow down :)
It's great to hear your healing well and you may still have changes to go through! Maybe until the 6 months? It's good to see you have put recommendations too on bras that you like.. I havnt gone to either yet! Xx

Yeah Jen I think we forget that were still healing on the inside and as you say, need to take it easy at times!
I did have a fitting at bravissimo where she put me in a 28FF or 28G. I bought a couple but tbh I think a 28 back is a little tight for me. I was in debenhams and tried on a few and think a 30 back is better. A 32 back feels comfy but I think it probably is a bit loose which isn't good for support. I was fed up going round and trying bras it made my boobs ache so I haven't been for another fitting, maybe il go again after Xmas. Yeah I think you're right, we could still see more changes, time is key!! :-) glad you're doing ok xxx

Love updates and its good to see you're doing so well babe.
Fitters often fit me into a 30 back, but I can't bloody breathe. They may in their opinion give the best support for my boobs but I don't want to kill myself in the process
The 32 feel much better on me and the fitters agree and assure me that's its still perfectly supportive. So like yourself... I go up a band size to make myself more comfortable but still maintain the support which is important. Xx

Thanks ladies.
Yes Charli I've tried the odd night without a bra as sports bras are not at all sexy haha but same as you it's too achey so I usually end up getting up and putting my bra back on! xx
