BJSF ADVERTISING POSTER
Hiya. An enquiry for Cookie and The Mods!
I was just thinking it would be a great idea if possible to be able to download a poster advertising BJSF. I always recomend this forum to any girls considering a ba, but thought it would be great if could put posters up-say for example in the gym. My son's girlfriend is desperate to have her own ba and has had a few consultastions which I'll have to post about-Cookie they will make your hair curl they were that bad. I have told her to have a look at this forum as I think the more information and research they can learn from this site is invaluable and wish all girls could see this site before even booking a consultation.Do you think a poster would be possible?x

Sounds like a fantastic idea Red and thank you for thinking if us, we really do appreciate it babe
I'll run it by the forum owner (Roxychick) and if she's cool with it then I can ask my son if he'll design something for us.

Thats great Cookie thanks. I'm off Spinning soon(another tip I picked up from the forum ha ha), but will have to post later about the consultations my son's girlfriend had. He had wrote a few things down that I seen on here to ask, so he stuck his oar in at the consultation and they left quick sharp!x

Re: BJSF ADVERTISING POSTER
Hiya. Regarding my son's girlfriends consultation!
Told them to make sure that they requested to see the PS on the same day as well as a PC.They were told this is not possible, which is not true as I made the same requests with my numerous consults for 2nd BA.
Secondly, regarding placement she was told that there is no difference and you could decide which you wanted!
Thirdly, that you're BA should last a lifetime! She's only 22! Aftercare is lifetime!
Finaly, you really should pay your deposit today to secure your op date! All this without even seeing your PS.
I am pleased to say with the information I had given my son they realised all the above mentioned was rubbish, Its shocking, as I myself know it is very easy to get carried away with the excitment of it all, myself included being a 40 year old woman who had wanted a BA for years and thinking I have a BAAPS/BAPRAS surgeon had a 10 minute consultation with no discussion of sizes, trying implants, implants type or importantly aftercare and then handing over a wad of cash.
Thats why I think a poster would be a great idea and I think if my son and his girlfriend wern't informed via this site they would have paid a deposit there and then.
The selling is shocking for an invasive operation. I must say I didn't have a PC for my 1st BA but did for my 2nd and she really was great-to help with any concerns and no pressure which is what a PC should be about and not a sales person. x

Re: BJSF ADVERTISING POSTER
I have my son currently designing a poster. He has his own business (Fresh Fox Designs) but he said he'll do this for us for free, so once he's put something together I'll put your idea to Roxy before releasing it.
I'm sure she'll say yes though. Its a very good idea.
I'm also so, so happy to know that we may have played a small part in helping your sons girlfriend stay on the right track through you Red from what you've read here. Just knowing that we've helped that one girl is exactly why we put so much into the forum in the hope of getting those very messages out.
Your sons girlfriend is a very lucky lady to have you Red. Xxx

Re: BJSF ADVERTISING POSTER
Thanks Cookie. I like yourself feel very stongly about the way the cosmetic surgery business is operated and I also think even from after having my first BA it has esculated and given the impression it's as simple as having a beauty treatment. Also again as you know when things go wrong it is devastating physicaly as well as emotionaly and I do worry that younger girls could struggle with this if they haven't the support and the financial means especialy when they are lead to believe it's a one off operation which will be fabulous. Thanks again for your help and support and for this very informative forum. x

Re: BJSF ADVERTISING POSTER
The forum doesn't belong to me Red. I am but the caretaker, but if I've personally helped at all, its been my absolute pleasure hun
I actually was that girl once Red, who naively trusted in a clinics name because of it being so commercialised. I felt I 'knew' the clinic because of the advisements I'd seen and I knew nothing buying that and 8 years ago, there were no forums like this for any guidance and I was stupid and naive and trusted instead if researched. I was told my implants would last me a lifetime. I was told there were risks, but they were so minimal I wasn't to worry. I was given one option - to fill my sagged breasts. Never once was an uplift discussed and for my lack of research I got a pair of over inflated boobs that were too large for my frame and ones I came to be as self conscious about as I was was my pre-op boobs. When I found out I had a rupture. My world came crashing down. This wasn't supposed to happen and I wasn't prepared for it, nor did I know what was or would happen to me. I was terrified and found myself just 3 years post-op having to find a further 4 1/2 grand which I thought would be covered by aftercare, but found it not to be (in the small print) because although a rupture is covered, a reaction isn't and the reaction left me which severe assymetry which the clinic were more than happy to leave me with, giving me two options - to go larger to fill the larger side and fill the smaller to bring it to the same size (I was already far too large for my frame and that suggestion was just ridiculous) or to just replace the ruptured implant implant which in the surgeons words, because of the reaction and the size of the breast which was twice the size of the other would be like throwing a ball in a sock. I've never felt as low as I did right at that moment, or as let down by a clinic I trusted
My BA ended up costing me 9K. Something I hadn't at all bargained for and I've had one hell of a ride since then up until the day I waved goodbye to that clinic and I am so, so passionate in trying to help women to see that their are options out there for there beyond the billboards and the TV and the glossy mags and to try and guide them beyond the word 'breast augmentation' in the hope that they see far beyond the word and look deep into what the word actually entails and how much is involved in getting it.
I never want to have any woman to feel as I did or to know as little as I did and I have said many times here, I hope I don't come across as being 'pushy' in my posts at all. If I do, I hand on heart can sincerely say that's not my intent. Its just that I want so much for each and every woman who comes here to be able to get the very best BA they possibly can from the research they did.
And its so great to find so many like minded women on Breast Buddies, who all have their own experiences and reasoning for wanting to get their passion to help out there too - we have an amazing forum to share here and the poster idea of yours would be a great extension to that I feel babe. Xx
