What Size?!

I have my pre-op on the 4th december.
Everyone is like....dont go too big, dont go biger than a C.
Im currently 34a.
I want to be a 34D, seeing as im paying alot i want to make it more worth while.
Anyone think is too big?

hi hun, the best advice you will read on here over and over again is:

- its your body, don't listen to anyone else.

- and: cup sizes don't mean anything.

everyone's perception of cup size is completely different, as you will see when you have a look in the shops or in pics. a 30D for example is a very different size than a 38D as it goes proportionate to back size. 
however a 30D and a 32C for example would be roughly the same cup size as they are sister sizes (up a band size, down a cup size).

so the best thing is to take pictures of the 'look' you like in to show your surgeon to make sure you are both on the same page when discussing what your want to achieve from surgery.

you will also go in to have a sizing appointment and will be able to try on different implant sizes, which will give you an idea of what to expect.

also if you search for rice boobs in the search bar here on top of the page, you will get an explanation of how to make your own mock sizers so you can try them on with all sorts of different clothes to get a better idea of what it is you're looking for.

but most importantly, don't listen to anyone who is trying to influence you, this is just about you, and your body, and you need to be happy with the result.

and decisions about how to get that result will only come from discussions between you and your surgeon, no one else.

I agree! cup sizes are just numbers, they vary from woman to woman and from shop to shop.
Like blue said, take pictures of the look you like. Focus on the look, not the amount of cc's.
When your trying on the implant in the mirror, decide on what you like the look of. The amount of CC's we all need to achieve a result depends on our individual body. So like blue said, this is for you and don't listen to anybody telling you what you should be having! x

When I had my two consultations I said I wanted a natural look and to be in proportion with the rest of body.  

I trusted my surgeon to give me that which he did (took four differeent sizes into surgery to try) and settled on the size he suggested in my first consult.

I took pictures with me on second  consultation just to show him the look I liked.

EVERYTHING is upto you. Your decision. Please don't let friends and family be of any influence.

Blue hit several nails on the head. Rice test is fab to try at home when you are sat thinking about size.... It gave me a very good idea and decided (i think) just 10cc over what I had thought I wanted originally.

We are all different, My pal just had 265under acheiving a GOOD full DD at least but I know being bigger frame...I will need approx 360 to have same kinda look / cup as her. So don't compare yourself.

You have to be happy with them, no one else! I am seeing my PS again just to check size! Then should be all set for pre-op.....We have the same BA DAY

Hey, I had an email regarding a friend request hun, I will have a peek in the morning....just off to zzzzzzzzzz now.

If u are smaller round can make a big diference to implant size compared to others. I am pretty broad i think.

Once you have sizing you will feel better and confident in your choice I'm sure.

I am on FB but keeping details of my BA pretty hush hush. although I think the gossip jungle drums are drumming already amongst some of my friends. So won't be linking my Fb account to anything boob related just yet .

Yeah i believe most people know about my BA but im not putting anything on FB ahaa yeah i was told 250cc round under would be fine....but my surgeon said he normally puts in a bigger size (20cc) more than the person wants...and they all are thankful he did as they said they wud ave gone back to go bigger if he hadnt.

hey hun, a lot of girls do say the rice test looks a bit bigger, so its an interesting approach of your surgeon.

or we just get used to them too quickly haha.

but trying them with different clothes and wearing them around the house for a bit will give you a good (rough) idea x

Hi my advice would be to take pictures to your ps of the look you hope to achieve and the ones you definitely don't want, I did this and it helped me and my ps to come up with the right size forme. I just had mine done 3 days ago I had 245 overs (furry brazilians) and I was a small 34 b cup but expect to be a full c small d when I get measured, I'm in the d cup sports bra at the moment as the c is way too small. Your ps is the best one to advise you about size because everyone is different I mean 245cc on someone taller and broader than me would look lost so its all down to you body shape to start with. The girls have said it all really - definately aim for a 'look' rather than a 'cup size'. I question if the surgeons have an accurate perception of cup size sometimes - mine has women listed as a C/D cup...when in reality they look more like an E cup+ LOL!

I also took pictures to mine to explain what i like and don't like which really helped. Good luck xx
