Dropping and fluffing
Hey ladies, quick question. Although this is my second BA the first time I had anatomicals so I didn't really experience the dropping and fluffing. This time round my less painful boob is dropping beautifully but the more painful one is still sitting much higher and is more swollen to the side. Will it drop also in its own time? My surgeon said they were healing well at my check up last friday but did say I've been overdoing it a bit. I know that it is technically two ops so I'm assuming the more traumatised one (the more painful one) is just taking a little longer to heal?

Re: Dropping and fluffing
Yup. You got it in one Rexie. The breast that suffered more trauma during surgery will be taking that little longer to heal and therefore will play catch up for a bit yet... But they do catch up and will even out, its a VERY common problem and one most of us actually have had to deal with, so don't worry hun... Sore booby will soon catch up Xx

Re: Dropping and fluffing
The positioning of the furries doesn't change, unlike with the textures which drop.
What will happen lil is the full upper pole fullness you will have early post-op will be held tightly by the newly stretched skin and muscle is you're having partials and will prevent the implant from taking on its natural form, but as everything starts to relax gravity will take hold of the gel inside the implant which WILL drop to the bottom of the breast - the implant will naturally take on the form of an anatomical implant shape as you can see in this image here:
Its this process that applies also to the furries that will have you drop and fluff. If you're still not understanding Lil, please do ask any questions you may have. Xx

Re: Dropping and fluffing
Cookie that diagram and explanation you posted is fantastic. The left hand picture is exactly what I look like now and the British right hand picture is what my previous BA looked like after around 10 weeks! I am so reassured now I hun thank you so much! One question though what are furries? I have Allergan Natrelle TRF Responsive round implants how do I know if they are furry or not? Xx

Re: Dropping and fluffing
Furries are a specific type of implant, polyeurathane (sp) I believe. Allergan TRF are textured implants, but not the same as furries
