How to go from an AA to a C cup? Empty How to go from an AA to a C cup?

Post by tigertonix 19th November 2013, 7:21 pm

Hi everyone. I had my consultation today and my surgeon recommended that I have 310cc Natrelle TSX implants. I think these means extra high profile? Anyway, I'm an empty AA cup and I desperately want to go to at least a full C cup. Will I achieve this with 310cc high profile submuscular implants? If not, is it cheeky to ask for a bigger size? Thanks so much!x

Totally depends on your body size too. Height weight band bra size etc etc
I am 5'4" and 8 stone 7 and narrow chest / shoulders and and 34 bra band, was an empty A cup . I had 375cc high profile anatomicals and am about a D now. :-)))) very happy so far but only 3 weeks in...!

Okay thank you!
I guess what I'm asking is will 310cc be enough to make a big difference? Should I ask my surgeon for bigger or is that questioning his knowledge?xx

Hello and welcome to Breast Buddies tigertonix wavey

As you're so unsure it really would be advisable to see more surgeons babe, at least one other and if you haven't seen a BAAPS surgeon yet then I'd strongly advise you see one before making any decisions sweetheart.

Whether 310CCs will be enough to give you 'the look' you want tiger I don't know, because your perception of a C may well be very different to mine and also I might add to that of your surgeon.

We have a whole wealth of information here to help you with your research which you will find in the Breast Augmentation Information section of the forum, you may find this thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] if particular help to you hun, explaining how pictures of 'the look' you like will by far help you better convey to your surgeon what you want.

We also have our very own Breast Buddies consultation notebook for our members to take with them on consultations so if you'd like a copy if that just let me know here Tiger and I'll get that emailed to you.

Good luck with the consultations and enjoy the forum babe. Xx

310 cc is a good size implant hunny, Unfourtnatly you can't guarantee a size it takes into account your stats, height, weight, breast tissue etc. I'm sure though you will definatly achieve your c cup Hun, I had 380cc for my first ba and was a AAA I was nothing! And ended up a a d/dd.

Thank you so much all of you!!

I understand what you're saying, Cookie, but I am satisfied with my surgeon Mr. Mahdi at Transform. He has done thousands of BAs so I'm confident that he knows what he's talking about. Unfortunately I hate the fact that I'm an AA and not an A. If 300cc takes you two sizes bigger, won't that mean I go to a B? I know it's so hard to predict an outcome but I just want a rough estimate. Will submuscular placement affect size, also? Thank you so much for all of your help!xxx

Who told you 300CCs is the equivalent to a cup size babe?

The amount of CCs aimed at achieving a cupsize dies vary from woman to woman and can be as different as say 100CCs for a woman with a small frame to your suggested 300CCs which might e for a woman with a very large frame. Its not a standard volume per size due to the great amount of factors that account for our anatomy that is unique to us all hun. Xx

Personally I think although you can't 100% say, this cc will get you this cup size, you can (well, I did) as a vague guide read up on others stats and cc etc and get an idea of what sort o f size you night end up. I looked up endless stats of other people's height weight bra size cc etc and think that as a general rule of thumb, estimate that 250cc is approx one cup size. Have you done your rice test? That's be helpful I reckon. I had partially under (pec minor) and they look very natural and no ridges or top roundness at all. Nobody has even noticed, prob as I wore padded bras a lot beforehand.

How to go from an AA to a C cup? Empty Re: How to go from an AA to a C cup?

Post by KayDeeStafford 19th November 2013, 8:29 pm

As the other ladies have said it's virtually impossible to say what size you will end up after surgery. It's based on your stats and also the anatomy of your chest wall, CC's look different on each person, for example, in my avi picture I have 460cc, if you look at Cookies avi she has 410CC yet has a larger size/look than I did with 50cc more. 460 took me to a DD yet 410 took Cookie to an F.

As a ball park esitmate a cup size is anywhere between 100 - 200 CC depending on the above factors, I know several ladies who have 300's, one is a full C one a DD and one is even larger.

Rather than ask for a cup size you're better to find a pic of the size you like to show your Dr, very few people are aware of how cupsizes actually work and how everyones perception of a size is a different, if you google a 30DD, a 34DD and a 38DD you will see they are all VERY different sizes.

You should also take in to account that implants generally look smaller than the size they are due to the fact they are a different shape to natural breasts, for example, I wore a 34DD but I had the look of a full 34C or small 34D.

Find a few pics of what you'd like to end up and give those to your DR, sorry for the huge post! I hope this helps and good luck! x

It can take anywhere between 90cc to 200cc to go up a cup size Hun, again depending on your anatomy.

There's some great images if you search on line about how different cc on different shaped bodies can result in different boobage too...! If you're like a 38 band your implants will need to be much wider than someone with like a 30 band hence more cc and changing the final cup size....! Also cup size doesn't really mean anything in isolation of its band size too... A 38A could be not that dissimilar to a 30C....

I can't thank any of you enough!!! You are all so kind giving up your time to help me out with decision-making!!
Could you tell me if extra high profile implants will make me appear bigger from the front view? I think I'll try and ask for 360cc or somewhere around that. I just want a good, noticeable change xxx

Extra high implants are usually used on small bwd ladies , our dear cookie has a great example of profiles and the effect of base size, which I'm sure she'll post soon.

The higher the profile Tiger, the narrower the breast base width is and more forward projection you will receive as you can see from the diagram below

How to go from an AA to a C cup? B84585b231e0da38857a4ab5c46977af_zps1cb2732c

But... The profile you can have isn't as simple as saying "I want that one" you have your own breast width and the profile base to help you achieve the 'look' you want has to 'fit' into your breast width.

But in general - the smaller your frame is the higher your profile will be to 'fit' your breast width. But... Again, this isn't standard, its not at all unknown for someone with a tiny frame having wide breasts and therefore needing a lower profile to fill it.

Breast Augmentation isn't an exact science babe... Infact the whole sizing thing is a complete mine field, but, the best you can do to help you achieve the look you want is to take pictures of the look you're wanting in with you to a consultation to see your surgeon again as details in the links I left for you in my previous post. Post by Charlii 19th November 2013, 9:03 pm

There is zero science behind it, and as all the girls have said, different body, different results. An XHP will give you more forward projection and a smaller diameter, so are recommended for a small BWD. But as for cup sizes - well, I was 32AA, had 340s (which were the biggest they could fit, tried 375 and were too big) and I'm now busting out of my DDs and have just bought my first 32E cup! So that works out at ~60cc per cup. I know theres another girl on here who had 285s and that took her to a DD/E. Theres just no telling. The best thing for you to do is maybe a rice test. Fill the foot from some tights with 310g rice and try them on. If you think you might want larger, discuss it with your surgeon. But 310 may be the biggest your body can fit right now, so bear that in mind too.

How to go from an AA to a C cup? Empty Re: How to go from an AA to a C cup?

Post by Blueeyedsoul13 19th November 2013, 9:13 pm

hi hun,

first to your latest question, the profile determines how you look side on meaning how much they 'stick out' so if thats the look you're aiming for, a high or extra high implant will be good. whereas if its side boob you're looking for, meaning if you look front on they stick out to the side, you may be better advised with a wider implant, however as was said before, implant choice and size is very much determined by your anatomy.

next, and we can't reiterate this enough, the perception of a cup size can be so different from person to person, and also like Kaydee said above, a 30D is a very different size from a 36D for example, as cup sizes go hand in hand with the band sizes.
this is why tinkerbell and others have said it is adviseable to take pictures of the 'look' you want to show your surgeon, just so you can both make sure you are aiming for the same result! and not to get toooo hung up on exact cup sizes.

what back size are you currently hun?

we do have a thread here where the girls list their pre and post op stats so it might be helpful to have a read of that. as an example, i'm a 30 to 32 back size, and was an AA cup before at most, i had 265 submuscular and it brought me a 30E or 32DD cup depending on store. though that sounds big it is a noticeable difference 'to me', but depending on the clothes i wear i look pretty similar to before (with padded bras).

have you been able to try on the impants yet? ask your clinic for sizing appointments, this will help you get a better idea of what difference a certain implant size is going to make to your body.
you may also want to type in rice boobs in the search bar here, its a way of making your own pretend implantes with an old pair of tights and rice, so you can try them on with different clothes etc.

and research research research :)
of course ask away here anytime hun, theres always someone around and happy to help x
