cleavage, injection fat
some of you may know I wanted a better cleavage
Ive just read online that if you have a naturally wide sternum and this causes a wider cleavage or of your nipples point sidewards then implants cant be placed closed to lessen the gap but you can have fat injected to help create a cleavage
Am I reading it wrong
xx

Re: cleavage, injection fat
Are implants too far apart

The limitation in your situation is that your sternum (breast bone) is wide and your nipple/areolar complexes are already pointing out (lateral). One solution for improving the result and giving you more cleavage would be to inject fat in the medial (inner) part of your breast. That would give you more definition where you want it without creating distortion.

Re: cleavage, injection fat
I dunno Tink, I'm still in the research stage of fat transfer myself, but maybe you email your surgeon and ask him? I'd be interested to know what he says if you do babe. Xx
Re: cleavage, injection fat
yes I think that I will
though id ask here first but just see,
I might manage to achieve a diff space/cleavage after, you have seen them the space isnt to bad but I would have liked it closer and I know its down to what we had before, so I shall make a call and get back to you lol
hes going to see my number and run away hahahaha xx

Re: cleavage, injection fat
It is something that is slowly becoming available but the end results are still very much unknown, there still isn't a solid answer out there on if fat transfer is permanent or not, or what it is exactly that causes it fail among some patients.
Obviously if you were to loose weight you could loose the transferred fat plus your body can choose to break down the fat cells for no real reason, meaning it would need to have transfers often to maintain it which would be hard as it's a very long drawn out process (finding a target area, harvesting, placing the fat, recovery ect). There's also a chance it would break down only part of the transferred cells and leave you with distortion.
One of the Drs at The Hospital Group uses this method and also offers fat transfer to help with rippling, it might be worth giving them a call to see what they say!
