Permission to use pics...
HI ladies,
I had my 4 month check up yest and my surgeon spoke about permission to use my pre-op and post-op pics (for things like his website and/or his lectures). The thought had never even crossed my mind but as I'd looked up pre and post op pics on his website and had found it very useful in picturing what I wanted I agreed to him using my pics.
Just wondered what others had chosen to do? Did you give permission to use pics? Has anyone seen their pics on their surgeons site etc?
Wondered how common it was?

I agreed! Obviously I went with transform so the likely of them using my pictures is very unlikely due to my tuberous shape and that they will have thousand's of pictures to choose from... but like you say, its helped us all out so why not :) xx

I haven't been asked, but I think it's a nice thought, and also quite flattering to yourself that he's asked you of all the patients he sees.
If your happy to do so I think it's a good idea, like you said seeing them helped you yourself, so you could help others
Xxxx

To be asked must be such a compliment! Wow~ go you!!
And I would definately say yes (as long as it's JUST boobs...no head) as it has been a HUGE help to see images of others BA, it has given me a good picture of EXACTLY the look I would like.
You should be very proud!

My ps asked me as he says he doesn't often use the size implant I had on tiny girls like me so it would be a good example to show. I said yes x

Re: Permission to use pics...
I assumed it was a general thing that was done as you are discharged or something! But as I'd never seen it mentioned here I wasn't sure.
The pics don't show my face or anything, just from my shoulders to my belly button I guess so it wouldn't be very obvious who it was.
He loaded up my pre-op pics and held the laptop up so I could compare now and then in the mirror, so glad I went through with it.

I was asked on one of the forms I had to fill out at my post op appointment (I went with Transform) I decided against it just because the photos were in the book in the waiting room which I didn't fancy everyone picking up lol x
