Yup a bag of haribo.. Yum and of course my fave pack of biscuits too.
If you're partial to a ginger biscuit they're great at combating nausea also x

Re: Bra, pillows and besties
Ginger biscuits are a very good idea. I was terribly sick after my second surgery, but you have to eat to take pain killers otherwise you'll be sicker, so it was ginger biscuits that saw me through. They were the only things I could keep down.
Ginger is renowned though for helping with sickness and nausea xx

Re: Bra, pillows and besties
Not sure how I feel about ginger biscuits, don't think I've ever eaten them, might get a pack just as a plan be in case of sickness.
As for the bag of haribo yes bloody please haha love it!!!!
Was thinking of getting a onsie for surgery day as I don't have many front fastening tops/clothing and it would be so comfy and easy to get on and off!
Getting close now ticker says 12 days p, every time I see it there's a surge of massive excitement and butterfly's!!! Not wishing time away but I wish it was sooner lol!!!

Sounds good seashell, was thinking of gettin a zip up onsie I have one from primary with poppers on and I love it, so comfy! But it's a bit old and tatty now so could do with a new one to go with. Be cosy for the journey home too as it takes about an hour and 20 so wanna try and be as comfy as I can xxx

Re: Bra, pillows and besties
I thought of a onsie too Charlii for recovery but then I thought I would have to take the whole lot off to go to the loo!
I've bought some tops from aportsdirect - I think they were £3 each which are short sleeved hoodies for the journey home and to wear when I go out post op. Not the most glamorous of garments but they look comfy. I also got some firetrap tshirts that I can wear in case I'm still struggling as they have poppers all along the back so I can slip into them.

Re: Bra, pillows and besties
I wore a onsie for coming home. After surgery you generally stay in your gown so won't bother with any Jim-jams after you BA. I've done this 4 times now and not once have I changed until going home.
Then I just popped my comfy onsie on and my big furry slipper boots lol and went home wearing those. I could just pay down then and not worry about getting undressed from 'outside clothes' and dressed again I to comfy 'indoor clothes' lol I was already comfy. Felt snug on the journey home too. ❤️ Xx

No, no need at all. The nurses don't expect you to get changed you're absolutely fine to stay in your gown until you go home. Xx
Re: Bra, pillows and besties
That sounds like a plan cookie - is it not uncomfortable taking the top half off the go to the loo then? I live in my onsie - a Dalmatian one. I had better get a more respectable one for the journey home then!! Xx

Re: Bra, pillows and besties
I was going to stay in my gown but the paper knickers were so uncomfortable I did end up getting changed! The first thing I said to my boyf after was 'get these paper knickers off' haha! But if I had wanted to stay in the gown that's fine :) xx

Re: Bra, pillows and besties
I wore paper pants straight after giving birth twice. Revolting things! I will have to ask my Mum to remove them! I might get some kinky ones to make up for the paper ones!
Ha ha ha ok, I will go as a damnation if you go as a pumpkin or something. Deal?! X

Lol I've just got myself a crocodile onesie to wear to a Halloween fancy dress party in a week and a half... I figured it was the ideal post op fancy dress that I can re-use on housework days :p xx
