What is normal after a BA?
So it's been a week tomoz since I had my under the muscle BA and I feel super!!
I'm not in any pain and haven't really been in much at all since the op, I can use my arms fine, I was even washing my own hair on Sunday with no struggles at all, I drove tonight for the first time too, ok I do have to steer like I'm on lessons again but I can't believe how painless things are, I was honestly expecting a really painful and slow recovery but it's been quite the opposite!!! Is this normal or am I over doing things and not knowing it???xx

At a week post op I wasn't in any pain, just a bit of discomfort. If you over do things your body will let you know! but just be careful as you are still very early post op! Xx

Re: What is normal after a BA?
Its normal 'for you' hun and how lucky are you!!!!!
The thing to beware of when you have such a good recovery is that you don't overdo things... Because things are going so well its so easy for the brain to take over and think its fine to do EVERYTHING! its not hun... So please always bare in mind that although you feel good, inside you're still very much healing so always think before you do anything hun and if in doubt - don't do it!!! Xxx

Wow check you out superwoman :) glad your feeling able to act 'normally', just make sure you are getting plenty of rest and unwind time to counterbalance it xx

It's great you are recovering so well, your body will teel you if you are overdoing it.
We are all different, I started exercising at 2 weeks post op - sensibly and under my surgeons instructions - and there was I thinking that I could take advantage of being looked after for the one time in my life!
