Got to have echo before ba ! Got heart murmur!!

So stressed out girls!! Can't believe it! This is my luck!

Mentioned I was born with a heart murmur to transform and wasn't sure If I still had it, so my doc confirmed today I still do!! Great
So I have to have a echo before ba, the doc was really moody when I told him what it was for, I felt so silly and embarrassed really

So he's referred me to have one but I'm poohing my pants this can't be sorted before the 25th oct!! Anyone had this issue

Please tell me it's going to b ok..
Keep thinking its a sign I should have it done!!

What's yr thoughts ??

Really hoping all will be OK Jo.

I didnt have to have an echo, nor do I have a hole in the heart, but I do have other health problems and had to have an ECG plus other tests as well permission from my GP and aneasthetist and all was OK babe. Hopefully it will be the same for you lovely.

Its best they find these things out now babe and so they look into into it and ensure you're fully well enough to go through this surgery.

Your health must always come first lovely but if there was absolutely no chance of you having this surgery with having a hole in your heart then they wouldn't even send you for a test babe... So there's always hope.

Imho I think it is far better to know, and I would look upon it as a once over. Boobies aren't worth being ill over, I hope everything goes well x

I agree your health needs to come first but hopefully it will be sorted before your date because we all here understand what it feels like to want everything to go smoothly!!

so im completely wasting my time with the NHS after 100 phone calls and still no appt made im paying private, ganna cost me a further 540 quid!! which is making me feel even more guilty than i already do spending this money on myself!! arrrrr
but at least it be all done before the 25th and i dont have 2 cancel surgury!! arrrrrrr

back on count down and excited again

having echo done Saturday!

Good to read you're back on track though and don't feel guilty babe! Regardless of your BA, you should know the condition of your heart and this may have helped for you to know exactly what's going on with it, so in those terms... Its money well spent hun. yes
