bloods not 100% satisfactory
hi all so had my bloods done by my GP to send to my surgeon to show to the anethetist for my reop and my GP did tell me that he wasnt sure that the anethetist would pass them for theatre, well my surgeon has literally just got off the phone to me and said he is thinking the same!!!
Some of you may know that I have a blood condition that makes my bloods clot very quick and thats why I have miscarriages and prem babies and been advised not to have any more babies and if so it wil be under consultant care
anyway the surgeon is going to speak to the anethetist and see what they think the next step should be, my surgeon is hopeful that there is away round about this so he should get back to me by Fri
All plans hav to stay the same unless otherwise told so
so fingers crossed its all ok xx

Oh no, what worry, I really hope that they decide to go ahead in December x
Has your condition deteriorated since your last BA or is it a matter of finding the best window for the best result? How do you feel about it all?

Re: bloods not 100% satisfactory
my bloods changexall the time thats why if we really want to try for another baby we need tests etc if my bloods are "normal"at time on concieving lowers chance of miscarriage and prem delivery
but ive got a feeling all will be fine. prob run bloods the day of op but i will keep u updated xx

Re: bloods not 100% satisfactory
I didn't realise they took your blood before surgery! I take this is at the pre-op? I've never had an operation or had y blood tested.. Hope everything is ok for mine, would be just my luck not to!! Xx

Re: bloods not 100% satisfactory
Not everyone has to have bloods taken Zoe. Its generally only done if there's a medical reason for them to raise concern and to check that all is well and you're fit and healthy.zoelucy wrote:I didn't realise they took your blood before surgery! But if you're fit and healthy already with no medical history to speak of then they're generally not necessary babe so don't worry. Xx
