Little tip for comfort
Just thought I'd share something that's giving me big relief. I've got two zip lock sandwich bags and filled them with peas. Put them on my boobs over my bra where I feeling swollen. It is giving loads of relief. Will keep on for 20min and then pop back in freezer for later. The peas mold round the boob so works better than a rigid ice pack. Obviously I won't be eating the peas!!! X

Aww glad it's helping you out :) I like using mine before bed to try to help with the itching but the main place in itchy is where the drains were and I can't go near them lol... Hope it all stops soon :) xx

Ah bless. The itching isn't nice is it? I really want a hot bath which is totally off limits. X

Ohhhh yer I love having really hot showers or baths... Missing them a lot! Even when we are allowed to I'm not sure wether we should have the water too hit incase it makes all the scabs come off or something! I've no idea lol, I'm going to ask tomorrow as I'm having my dressings off XX

Thanks for that tip jay, I have ordered some gel ice packs and they should be here tomorrow. But that sounds a great idea.
Hi natty, I didn't even think of mothercare would do anything like that. Bet they are bit more shaped to accommodate...... Worth knowing if mine don't turn up. Xx

I thought of it cos my mum had out peas on her knee when she had knee replacement. She just use the bag it came in but I thought the zip locks made them perfect boob size. X

Great idea ! The breast pads you get for breastfeeding are great too, lightly run under tap and pop a few in the freezer, they can be re-used a few times too :) xxx
