Awww natty!!! Day 3 is rubbish, just remember it WILL get better in a day or two. Maybe if you try walking round the house a bit more it can help with your trapped wind? I know it's painful to walk around tho so early on. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs xxxx

Re: day 3 postop!!!!
Well, without sounding like I'm bragging-although I AM very glad, I didn't have the whole 3day post op blues...but I DID experience the trapped wind from hell, which in itself with its 6months pregnant bloated stomach, made me feel like absolute dog sh**! I felt crappy in all my clothes, felt like some kind of bloated heffer....and then I woke up and the bloatedness (I'm having that as a word, regardless what collins dictionary have to say about it!) Had just disappeared and it was business as usual! (Nice!)
Anyway, just lounge about today, try and relax, and tomorrow is a new day, maybe see if your up for a short walk to the shop or something tomorrow to cure the cabin fever Side of things, before you know it you will be a week/ 2weeks down the line and all this will be a distant memory!!
Xx

Re: day 3 postop!!!!
The worst thing you can do for yourself is stay in bed all day babe. All that swelling is settling and its not doing any good just laying there on your chest.
Getting yourself up and going for a walk will help sooo much Natty. A capsulectomy really does take it out of you, so leave the housework hun and just stay focused on you. The walk will be great. It'll get rid of that swelling and it also stimulates the bowel too so will help with the wind and going to the loo. But it may be a little too much getting back into housework just now, so give yourself a few more days until you feel more like your old self before getting back to cleaning babe, but definitely no ironing or hoovering. You need took after yourself babe. Xx
