My op cancelled.....

Hi girls, as you know my op for Monday has been cancelled due to no abpnaethetist, they assured me they tried to get another, I have looked through some paperwork and all I can find that mentions cancellation is this...... Any feedback appreciated. Don't know if I'm entitled to compensation....... Or what I can do about it......... Very short notice, knew yesterday......

Note that if your Consultant cancels your Treatment Package because they consider it is not in your best interests for medical reasons, and you have already paid for your Treatment Package, we will refund your payment less the costs of Care that you have received up until the point of cancellation. This will be charged at Spire Standard Rates.

Hmmmm.... Well, they haven't cancelled for 'medical reasons' have they so I don't think that would stand sweetheart nope

have they not given you any indication when your op could be rescheduled? X

Big hugs honey... This must be such a let down for you. If you've booked hotels or payed for train tickets or anything like that in preparation for Monday they will refund any costs you will have incurred because of this. Xx

Urgh! That's awful! Definitely see if they can compensate you for loss of earnings if you took time off and/or expenses.

Thanks cookie, that's the only thing they mention about cancelation in the paperwork, don't mention if they cancel due to staff shortage will look into it more. It was only down road for me. So no hotel or expenses.. The only thing I've lost out on is my loss of earnings and my boobs Hysterical

I've had to cancel with spire as couldn't really give me a date ( all bit odd) so I got in touch with vik vijh's secretary and I'm going with him through the "beauty gurus" and I'm not at the queen Elizabeth hospital, Birmingham on sat 5 th October.

Thanks flower girl, I will see what I can do. Going to do bit digging the weekend, one of my clients works in theatre at Worcester hospital. Never know what I can find out...... Xx

I was reading Beauty Gurus the other day Bizzy, so it was they who cancelled and not Spire then? Sorry if I'm wrong babe, I've probably got all confuddled. Its easily done these days lol.

What aftercare do you get with Beauty Gurus Bizzy? I couldn't find anything on their website.
