not sure of size HELP!!
Hi
I went for a consultation with my surgeon yesterday and I am very confused as what to do now. I currently wear a 36D size bra but after having 2 kids and losing weight my breasts have lost volume in the top and I dont have much of a cleavage so I thought implants would solve this. However the surgeon told me that as I already have large breasts I would need a minimum of 700cc to make any sort of difference to the volume in the top part of my breasts.
I have done the "rice test" and 700cc does seem pretty huge but I kinda like em LOL my boyfriend says he "LOVES" them! I am just not sure what to do as I am scared of going that big and hating them.

Re: not sure of size HELP!!
I would go and see a few consultants tbh. Did he suggest an uplift as well? 700cc does seem like a very big implant! Which is fine if that is what you are wanting to achieve.
I have only had implants, however I had no boobs or breast tissue. What I am thinking is that if you just have implants, and fairly large ones at that, will the weight of them make them drop too much?
One of the experienced ladies will be along to give you better advice I am sure.

Hi. I'd agree. Go and get some more advice. Have a few more consultations and get a feel for what's on offer and what different surgeons have to say, then you can make a more informed decision.x

Re: not sure of size HELP!!
Hi princess confused, welcome to the forum!
700cc is a big implant however if its to fill you out then it sounds like you will accommodate that size well... We do have a few ladies here with bigger implants so your not alone!! M
Rice bags come up a lot bigger then the actual implants also so bear that in mind, they are only a rough guide because the rice is totally different to the gel in the implant :)
Going for another consultation does sound like a good idea because you can double check in your head that the advice given is right for you xxx

Thanks for the advice. No he never mentioned an uplift because they're not "saggy" to the extent where I need an uplift I just want them "filled out" Jenniferrf1 it was Mr Meleagros from Transform I had the consultation with he wasnt all that helpful tbh!

Re: not sure of size HELP!!
In that case definitely go for another consultation with a different surgeon because you will know when you find the one for you and the fact that mr M did not fill you with confidence means he isn't right for you ...
You can meet a baaps registered surgeon through Mybreast if you like for £25 but definitely meet a few other surgeons until you feel more confident :) good luck xx

Re: not sure of size HELP!!
What the surgeon suggested is to simply fill the excess skin you have and to do that you're going to need a lot of CCs to achieve it... This however isn't your only option and I so wish I had someone to discuss this with when I had my first surgery which like yourself, I had a very dismissive surgeon who simply said he'd fill them out and that was it... Nothing more. The result 'for me' was that I had breasts far too large for my frame and I came to be as conscious about my big boobs as I was about my smaller ones, so I had mine reduced.
This may be an option for you if you feel the 700CCc were far too large for you.
A smaller implant can be chosen and you can have a reduction of the excess skin taken away to close up around the smaller implant to give you a nice smaller perky looking bust that suits your frame.
I would very much advise you see a BAAPS member hun. These surgeons really are at the top of there game and they don't tend to gravitate toward the large commercial clinics, bit rather work through smaller clinics or have private practises. You can see a BAAPS surgeon for as little as £25 through MyBreast hun and they WILL give you the time needed for you to discuss concerns and will explain their reasons behind any decisions they make for your surgery plan... If you have concerns, you will have an opportunity to question it because they will give you that time to do so, so don't give up yet hun, there are options there to discus further with a surgeon.
This thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] may help get your head round what to take with you for your consultation babe and if you'd like a list of questions to ask the surgeons you do see, feel free to email me through my profile hun and I will send you Breast Buddies very own consultation notebook to print off and take with you. Xx

Re: not sure of size HELP!!
I've got 800cc however I have very little breast tissue and a very small size 28 ribcage. So the look may not be the same , all I can say is 700cc is a huge implant for a first ba. And just remeber hunny, it's YOU NOT your boyfriend having the ba, so maybe get a few opinions form surgeons as 700cc yes will fill out your boobs howeve you say about volume In te upper part their pants will give you just a bigger version of what you have now . Re: not sure of size HELP!!
I am a size 14/16 and do not have a small frame, so i think i 700cc will be fine for someone my height and size. Ive sought alot of advice since my post on here and as i not a "smal girl" in any way, shape, or form i think 700 cc is gonna be suited to me
