Redness???
This is my 4th day since my BA n I've had a sore right boob since about the day after my surgery but I've noticed I'm starting to get really red around my boob at the side n a bit across the top of my nipple n I'm panicking incase I'm starting an infection..I feel ok other than the pain I've been having n I'm on antibiotics since my BA but do you think this could be anything to worry about? Xx

just keep a little eye on and it and if you start to really worry call the clinic, you should have been given a 24 hour emergency contact number
but your boobs will go all sorts of colours feelings and shapes over the next few week xx

As long as you havnt got a fever, or feel unwell or its hot to touch it's unlikely to be an infection and seen as your on anti bs.

Re: Redness???
You'll be due for your wound check in a few days won't you?
As long as you don't have a high temperature babe, I really wouldn't worry. Scars can often feel worse before they start to feel better and can feel sore as they're healing as well as one healing quicker than the other too babe, so its normal for your boobs to feel different also.
Just keep an eye on things sweetie and your clinic nurse will take a look for you when you have your wound check.
Of course if your temp goes up or you experience severe pain that can't be controlled by pain medication then call the number you would have been given upon discharge lovely. Xxx

Had my wound check up on Mon n the nurse said everything was healing up well n she even said 'wow' when she took my dressings off so im taking that as a good sign :-)

Thanks girls again for the advice n reassurance :) xx
