Hi all..
I hope everyone is well and doing fab! Haven't been on for a while.. Kids, home, hubby are all keeping me busy! Lol!
I just wanted to ask a quick question.. Basically, I have been having a mare with my right boob! It constantly feels like it's bruised on the outer side near my armpit and it's tender to touch. Also, when I wear my bra it's ever so uncomfortable and I find myself having to take it off during the day and putting on a sports bra.. Do you think there could be something wrong? I was supposed to see my surgeon on July 25th but he wasn't in the country so rescheduled for August 8th but couldn't make that due to my little girl being unwell (didn't want to leave her and she is all for mummy when unwell) so now have to wait until sept 12th.
Sorry to go on.. Just a bit worried!
Anyway, all looking great ladies, much love xx

Re: Hi all..
My first instinct is whether you're in the right size bra? It could be something as simple as your wires digging in if you fluffed and went up a size. If its sore, Id stick with your sports bras until you see your surgeon, its only another 4weeks.

Re: Hi all..
Hi, thanks for replying. My righty is the smaller boob so don't know whether it is due to wrong size bra although it could be a possibility. I'm 4 months PO also so there could be a possibility that I have just fluffed too but can't really tell much of a difference tbh! Like you say, I only have 4 weeks to go now so will just wait and see what my surgeon says.. It's probably nothing! Thank you xx

Re: Hi all..
Pre Op my righty was the smaller boob too, and I had constant bruised pain on the outer underside, it was so tender. It was because it wasnt big enough to keep my bra down (and i was wearing the wrong size), so the wire was sitting on it all day. Its one of the reasons I got it done!

Re: Hi all..
I was the same, I was flat as a pancake before I had mine done so much so that my bra would ride up coz I had nothing to fill it out with! I haven't actually been properly measured yet neither, I have literally just tried on bras and if they fit then I bought them. Maybe I should get measured as you may be right about me wearing the wrong size! It's always a constant worry though isnt it after having a BA, you never know if there is something wrong. Thank you for your advice x

Re: Hi all..
Go and get yourself measured him in bravissimo for a bra that will support your boobs properly.
Not only that at 4 months post op and even for me at 10 months post op, I cannot wear wires all day!
Remember wires will push your boobs into an unnatural position especially a push up. And it advised to only start wearing them for a few hours at a time . Building up.
As I say even at 10 months post op I only wear wires a few hours a day, the rest of the time IM in my comfy sports bra! X

Re: Hi all..
Oh I didn't know that, I thought I could just wear them like normal!
I'm def gonna get measured, might try and see if I can get an appointment for this weekend.. Hopefully they can fit me in :)
Mrsball, I was reading a thread earlier about bigger implants and I noticed that you mentioned having 380s first time round (same as me) and that you got 600s 2nd time and I was wondering how long you left it before you had your second surgery? I love mine at the moment but would love to go bigger.. X

Re: Hi all..
If righty was your smaller boob babe, this boob will have had more trauma during surgery. Using the same sized implant, the smaller boob would have been a much tighter fit! So you can imagine that this boob will take longer to heal than leftie.
Bras are a funny thing too.... If your leftie feels fine in your bra then I don't think the problem lays with the fit. I simply think its because rightie isn't quite as ready as lefty just yet and needs time to be broken in.
You're not at all alone in this babe. Many women including myself have had to break our boobs into bras and this is because although we get the all clear from surgeons to wear bras we're still very much healing inside and the surgeon says yes! Our boobs say no! Lol
So just build up the time you're wearing bras until you feel ready it all day. I started on an hour, building the time up over a couple of months until it was comfortable hun. So don't worry... Its just the boob healing - it had a tough time! And therefore just needs that little bit more time. Xx

Re: Hi all..
I and my 2nd ba around 5 years after my 1st, purely as I had another baby and for me they changed aesthetically and I wanted a much bigger 'faker' look.
X
Any yes no wires all day, to start and as I say even now I resort to. My trusty sports bra for 80/90% of the time! X

It's always such a worry after having a BA isn't it, you never know if there is anything wrong in there! I want to look after them as well as I possibly can so will do whatever is possible!
Thank you so much xxx

Re: Hi all..
Mrsball, they look amazing! I love that 'faker' look, don't know how my OH would feel about me being as big as you because he already thinks mine are too big but I would love to have them done bigger! I was thinking of waiting until my birthday next year to get them done again, I will be over a year PO, I'm also done with having children (I have 3 girls already) so have no worries about getting pregnant as I can no longer anyway. I am just boob obsessed! Lol xx
