Bra size help
Hey ladies
My sports bra is too small on the cup and is cutting into me and leaving marks on my boobies
I was a 34B/C and my current sports bra is 38E (my ribs are swollen but they are going down now so it's starting to get more comfy across the band)
I've got my tape measure out and input the band and bust size so I know which size to go out and get and I'm getting a range of different sizes forum different sites from 36D to 36 GG, I'm confused
Is it too early to get measured in a shop just so I can buy a sports bra that is more comfy? I can't really wear these for the next 6 weeks :-( xx
P.S I was not impressed with 36D, but that can't be right judging by how tight my sports bra is could it?

Re: Bra size help
Hi Princess, at my one week post op the nurse said it was ill fitting, my sports bra, and advised me to go to a dept store and get a bra . A lady helped me and I got a sports bra in Debenhams( a shock absorber), it was so comfy and I bought some bra extenders as well as I suffered with my band size x so go and get yourself sorted x

Re: Bra size help
Go and get yourself fitted for a sportsbra Jo this isn't your final fitting, but its a fitting that's going to make you comfortable through your recovery babe. The last thing you want is to have to be uncomfortable whilst recovering.
Forget online measuring systems. They've had women in the wrong sized bras for years babe. Being 'fitted' for a bra is the only way to go babe.
Hope you're more comfortable once in a better bra.
Maybe you could sell your old one in the 'grab a bargain' section of the forum and get yourself a bit of money back and give one of the girls a bargain who are looking for bras too. Xx

Yeah go and get fitted for a sports bra hun, you don't have to be uncomfortable! And take no notice of the o line calculators, they really are a load of rubbish x

Re: Bra size help
I went to debenhams today and they couldn't fit me in so I have to go back tomorrow. I went to M&S though and she said 36E although I'm wearing a 38E at the minute which is cutting into me and leaving horrible red marks all over my boobs. I'm sure I read somewhere that M&S measuring system is not great?? What do you think I should do? X

M&S are rubbish. Debenhams aren't the best like but they're far better than M&S and if you're desperate to get a bra then debenhams will be fine babe. Xx
Re: Bra size help
Ok thanks Cookie ill see what they say tomorrow. Who else do you recommend? I don't think I have a bravissimo near me

Re: Bra size help
I would just go into any of them and try on a load until I find a comfortable one Jo. if none of them are that accurate just go for comfort x

Re: Bra size help
My mum got me a Tesco one and it was alright, went up a band size, and was supportive x I do like the shock absorbers , but I ( like Jesper said) went for comfort and good boobie support.
