Prune juice as a laxative
Just remembered that when I was bunged up with my baby's (I am prone to it) I would only need to down a half pint glass of prune juice (100% one morrisons do it in a glass bottle) and I'd be on the loo within 20minutes. Lactulose etc did nothing - so for post op bunging up I would definitely recommend this (just block your nose and down it! Because the taste isn't the best!)

Re: Prune juice as a laxative
I'm really not a prune person either hence the blocking of the nose! but honestly the juice is the best laxative for me ever! I mean it doesn't cause really loose movements just softens everything up really gently :)
You just have to make sure you get the 100% one :)
Can't believe I'm on 2 sleep countdown!!!

Re: Prune juice as a laxative
Great tip!!!
At the hospital there was prunes on the menu, can't remember what meal and I asked the lady if I should have them, this was Pre op ordering! She was like, well do u normally have them? As I don't she was like, well don't have them then! I'm glad I didn't as I personally wouldn't have fancied them post op but did think I might need them!!! I much preferred the fresh fruit salads they gave me! Anyway, crispy bacon, u are sooooo close now!!!
Mr khan will work his magic on u xxxx
