Implants in bra?
So today I was able to try implants in a sports bra and am happiest with 295cc for my frame. I tried 325 and felt these made me look a bit top heavy. I am only small. Just wondering post BA girls did you find that trying implants in bra gave a bigger/smaller/accurate impression of after? I know it is certainly not an exact science and different for every girl but just wondering!

Re: Implants in bra?
My rice boobies def came out bigger but I'm early post op, when I tried on 360's before they looked bigger than the 415cc I have in, so I would say they come out bigger but everyone else may say different and I've not got finished result yet! Xxx

Re: Implants in bra?
I tried 360 silicon in my bra not rice. The rice was 415cc as hadn't tried them on as implant in bra as didn't do that at consult. Only rice boobs :-/ x

Re: Implants in bra?
Aw ok thanks! Will try both sizes again next week, think a few people have said what you said that implants on top of the boob look bigger than inside! So might be tempted to go for 325 after all. Will see next week. It's confusing isn't it!! Haha xx

Re: Implants in bra?
I tried rice and implants in my bra, I think I had 250 and 300cc rice, 250 looked good and 300 a bit top heavy. I tried 250 implants plus my bra with slight padding which my ps said would give me the results of 275 and they seemed the best. That's what I went with and I am very happy.
Rice boobs look bigger cos they don't really move or mould into your body. Xx

Re: Implants in bra?
I agree that rice boobs are bigger because obviously they don't form the same was as the implant does so when you hold them against your boob they move more lol, but I guess they are the best thing we have for a rough guide at home xx

Re: Implants in bra?
Yeah I agree the rice boobs do look bigger. But remember when trying on the sizers, there will look like there is a lot of upper pole fullness, but when in your body and they drop and fluff, you will lose the upper pole fullness.

Re: Implants in bra?
Thanks girls. I thought this. So if I liked the 295 in the bra do u think I should go for the 325 to get a similar size once they are in? xx

Re: Implants in bra?
Its difficult obviously because there is a 30cc difference.. Its got to be up to you really ... the question normally is would you be more disappointed if they were smaller then expected or bigger? We are all saying the rice boobs do feel bigger than the implant so it does make you think!...
have you looked at the implant catalogue to check the dimensions ? When I was looking at my two choices (410 and 460) the implant catalogue showed me that they were only 1cm difference in projection and a few cm difference in width and because I knew my BWD I found I could fit the 460 in also without having any side boob (might end up with a little though once there actually in lol)
In my situation I would be more disappointed if I was smaller than expected and after checking the implants would fit nicely I would go with the bigger ones BUT, that's just me and it has to be your decision what you would feel better doing :) xx

Re: Implants in bra?
It is something only you and your surgeon can decide hun. But also remember the bigger the implant the more risk of complications. My boobs look a little bigger than they did with the sizers, but I did go for a slightly bigger size (25cc).
But as already said would you be happier with slightly bigger than expected or slightly smaller? X

Yeah I will try and look in the catalogue to see and discuss with the surgeon next week as you say. It's so hard to decide. xx

Re: Implants in bra?
Jen do u have the link to the catalogue? My surgeon said rounds high profile (allergen natrelle) and I thought I found a catalogue but didn't seem to have 295 or 325 for rounds? xxx

Re: Implants in bra?
Oh yes thank you!!! Is full projection the same as high projection then? Must be why I couldn't see it. Very small difference between the two isn't there! I will defo ask him to go through this with me at the next appt, as it's so small I might go for the 325 as I think I would be more disappointed if they were slightly smaller than I had hoped than slightly bigger. I think. Haha xx

Re: Implants in bra?
I think so yes, ive heard it called the same thing.. That's how I felt when I saw the two I was looking at, the width was a bit more but after finding my BWD and seeing it would fit ok still I decided ild go bigger :)
No problems, good luck :) xx

Re: Implants in bra?
Ah liking these posts, well done Jen on getting the dimensions, obv u can check with surgeon but when u see such minus mall difference, def makes u think go for slightly bigger! That's how I felt when weighing up my sizes.
U will be so clued up when u see him next!!! I live the whole dimension thing!!! Xxx

Full projection is the same as high profile lovely. As you can see from the diagram below, the higher the projection, the narrower the base and more forward projection you get
Never underestimate any amount of CCs. If the smallest amount of CCs were to barely make any difference it wouldn't be worth the manufacturers producing them. And always remember. The bigger the implant - the higher the risks!
As long as you stay within your BWD and you surgeon is in agreement, then all is well sweetheart. Xx
Re: Implants in bra?
Thank you Cookie. I think my BWD is 11/11.5 so I will ask him his opinion at the next appointment. If he thinks 325 would be a bit of a tight squeeze I will stick with 295. But I get the jist from the last appt that either would be ok, as we looked at both sizes inside the bra so I think if he thought it would be too big he wouldn't have let me try them.
