Re: I'm off....
Happy saving, its a sacrifice you have to make but think of how good the holiday after your boob job will be in your new bikini's, thats what I cant wait for. I've never felt confident in a bikini, hopefully I will soon xx

I can't remember the last time I felt confident in a bikini - maybe NEVER ! Knowing me tho, once I get my boobs fixed I'll then see that I need lipo on my tummy . Strange really, you seek to get one inperfection remedied and then you start to see others ... x

Hi Eddy... having my gorgeous hubby there made all the difference to me. He really wants this to happen for me and couldn't be more supportive :))) we both put all our wages in the pot and whatever is left is ours to do what we both want with it, so its going to get shared between holidays and my boobie fund ;))) x

Re: I'm off....
lol i know its typical we always notice other flaws but i do think itll make a massive difference to your confidence and hopefully you wont feel hung up on other bits and bobs too much because you'll love your boobies!!SharonM wrote:I can't remember the last time I felt confident in a bikini - maybe NEVER ! thanks hun :) ive booked to see adrian richards on 20th sept, me and mam are going up to london for the wkend so im hoping for some good news. onlyl thing is if he does agree to the 2 in 1, the aftercare is nowhere near as long as mybreast and THG's so that's something else to consider if i can get the go ahead! nothing's easy with this boob malarkey! xxSharonM wrote:Aww don't be daft lumpy - we all have lives off the forum - so you are forgiven just this once ha ha....

Re: I'm off....
Don't forget to ask Adrian about ASC insurance Lumpy. It's available to all BAAPS members and could buy you another 2 years cover that starts after your after care runs out so you should get some pretty decent cover if Adrian has opted into this. Xx
Re: I'm off....
aw yeah course! thanks cookie i'll stick that on my questions to ask form! i think this consultation will take a different slant from the previous two as i need to know more about recovery and complications xx

Re: I'm off....
What excellent news Sharon - your story sounds very similar to mine.
I had the dual op (lift and implants) and am soo pleased with the results (although unbeknown to me, mysurgeon changed her mind from a mastopexy to a donut lift with nipple reduction while I was on her table lolol).
What a fab hubby, hope you can book your surgery soon
Sam xx

Re: I'm off....
Hi Sam - I'm very lucky to have such a wonderful hubby, he really is THE best...
Don't know if I'll end up avoiding the mastopexy because I have a lot of skin - BUT you never know!!!
How are you finding the recovery sweetie ? There are a couple of you on here in the same boat, new post ops, and tbh it really helps reading all your recoveries on here because there aren't that many of you having uplift/ba, so the more I can absorb, the better prepared I'll be when the time comes...

Re: I'm off....
Yeah, my recovery is going well.
My scars are clean and I've no real pain. My implants feel less like bricks and more like part of my body as each day comes. Although when I walk into saucepan handles poking out of the drainer, I realise I may need to be a bit more careful lol
I do have lots of numb areas and I don't suffer with morning boob like other ladies - I am more a late afternoon lady. By about 5 they feel really achy and odd burning sensations. I know it is just my body repairing itself and I'm very early days.
All in all, taking into account the severity of the surgery, I really can't complain at all. :-)

Re: I'm off....
Hi Sharon, sorry to hear you're first consult didnt go great.. but you're doing the right thing get as many opinions as poss...!!! I went to transform, mr clarke told me the same that he suggests two surgical procedures, or I would droop!! absolute rubbish - I also saw Barbara lutzs at transform she said opposite- but I didn't like her attitude a bit rude and & a bit un- cooperative - so went to the hospital group, and saw dr hassan sulaiman 3 times over 2 years- he's done an amazing uplift & ba - one procedure- it's just a little more technical to perform but I think mr clarke could be after more money Hun!!

Re: I'm off....
Hi Jilly...thanks sweetie. Im a lot happier now I know I can have it done in one procedure but it took a lot of emotional confusion to get there - but I did get there in the end. Im gutted not being able to respond to posts as I'm in turkey on my hols and wifi is NOT the best :((((
When im back home you won't get me off here again ha...
So glad that you got what you wanted in the end sweetie... :)))) x
