Surgeon been in and drawn on me, anaesthetist been and nurse coming shortly. I am 3rd on list so should be going down about 11:30

I am feeling ok, still pretty nervous but all the staff are good at putting you at ease. Got my numbing cream on now and just an hour to wait. Feel a bit sick thinking about it but no turning back now!

How you feeling with 2 days to go princessjo?

Is that numbing cream for the cannula?

I just wrote in another topic about that lol, I am dreading the cannula nope

I'm feeling ok, got loads to do so hoping that will take my mind off it xx

Yeah its for the cannula, its what I am most worried about! Just ask the nurse when she comes to see you and she will put some.on for you an hour before surgery :)

I'm thinking of asking for it too :) for me it's the fact that I'm squeamish so the fact it will be in overnight isn't something I'm looking forward too... But I gave blood recently which did help me feel a bit better lol xx

Hi misty, I know it's lovely isn't it, we all have each other, it's keeping me occupied as well!! Id be so bored as I'm crap at watching tv!!!
I feel fine, just getting used to torpedoes! I am sleeping well now so feel well rested.
I won't hijack pr1ncessmummies post going on about me though!!!! Hee hee!

Really sorry, thought I had updated on here but now cant see it! I have been updating my diary if anyone fancies a read over there!

All went ok, surgery was a bit longer than planned as both implants had ruptured. I was a bit groggy and sleepy when coming round and a bit nauseous but they sorted that out quickly for me. Slowly woke up fully and had some tea - lamb stew and veg follwed by fresh fruit salad. Been pretty alert since then really, plenty of movement in arms and no pain. The staff are fantastic and I have been very well looked after! Going to try and sleep soon after this tea and bickies that I have just been brought!

Also princessjo - cannula was a breeze after that numbing cream and not bothered me at all since coming round!
