New avi :-)
Hi girls! So I am 5 days post-op and doing well. Got home last night and now settling at home. My mum is leaving today sadly so I will have to fend for myself, but I feel more than able to. The majority of the pain has subsided and aside from morning boob, I'm not in any real pain now, but taking it easy and not over-exerting myself. I am already noticing changes in my boobs and last night tried on some of my bikinis. The pre-op photos in these bikinis really depressed me, because there was just nothing there, but I felt so, so happy trying them on last night, and thought I'd show you the results. Let me know what you think of my new avi!

Thanks so much girls!! Absolutely worth the wait Cookie! Thank you! :dance:They make my massive hips look so much more in proportion! Wish I'd gone a bit bigger but that's natural after a BA I think. xx

I personally think they look perfect. Any bigger and you're looking to go on the fake side Goldi and I know that's not what you wanted at all. Xx

Thanks Princess :) xx
Cookie, you're right, I need to keep reminding myself of this when boobie greed hits. They look big in this pic as I'm kind of leaning forward and pointing the camera at them, but they're really not big at all so no one would say I have big boobs, which is kind of what I'd wanted, though very natural. It seems to be a common trend that we all wish we'd gone bigger post-BA but generally, I am very happy with my new 'rack' and my recovery has gone well so far, I've not even needed painkillers since I left hospital xx

Aww thank you so much girls! You all look amazing in your avis too! I can't believe those boobs are mine, still so surreal. I'm glad they relax and soften as they're quite 'ball-like' at the moment so I can't wait until they feel more like normal boobs. I will start a pic trail soon. Do people usually start them so early on? xx

Re: New avi :-)
Aww no need to have boobie greed Nicole, yours are amazing!
Jen, thanks so much! I was frightened about the journey home but it was fine and my mum ruled the roads. Drove for the first time today. My surgeon told me I couldn't drive until I could safely do an emergency stop. I unfortunately HAD to do an emergency stop because some w**ker flew in front of me at a roundabout and I had to stop abruptly. It hurt but at least I know I can do it. I won't be driving often though for the next couple of weeks.
My mum has just left :sadsmiley:and I'm on my own now. It's a bit scary because it's unlikely I'll see anyone for the next 10 days as no one knows about my BA and they think I'm on holiday. Wish I could go back to work sooner solely because that's a long time to spend alone. I will have to think of nice things to do in the meantime...xxx

ah goldi so pleased for you! ive been following your journey with interest! i know you losing weight before the op, how do u feel about ur shape now? u mentioned that your hips are more in proportion, this is what im hoping to achieve to as im a pear shape, massive hips and bum! im hoping to lose a stone before the op just to get some excess off but if the boobs can even me out as well i'll be happy! xx

Aww goldi bless you, I know it seems like a long time but hopefully tomorrow when your used do being alone again your be able to really get relaxed and used to not doing much, hopefully a few little walks or some food shopping, just whatever feels best :) sorry to hear about the w**nker on the road!! Someone cut me up on a roundabout today aswell, how difficult is it to be in the right lane?! Again I live your avi :) keep looking at it when I'm typing haha xx

Re: New avi :-)
Lumpybumpy: I'm so flattered you've been following my journey, and that you remembered I wanted to lose weight. I feel loads better about my figure now. I didn't manage to get down to my ideal weight pre-BA unfortunately. I felt it was important to keep my energy levels up and focus on getting enough protein, nor did I take any exercise which I wish I had done! I did lose a stone and a half in total and fit snugly into a size 12 now which I'm happy about. I feel that my new boobs definitely make my figure look more in proportion. My surgeon suggested a broad implant and there's some side boobage which you might be able to spot from my avi, but it looks great! My bum and thighs still seem massive but I feel less self-conscious of them and don't feel like there's any desperate rush to lose the last 7lbs. As I've been sitting around a lot during my recovery, I've doubtless gained a few lbs but I'll deal with that when I'm more mobile. Do you know how you are going to lose the weight before your big day? I'd definitely encourage a gentle plan, no fast weight loss or strenuous exercise. I definitely think having new boobs is a great incentive to maintain your weight and take pride in your figure. Keep me updated hun! xx
Jen, I'm so pleased you're inspired by my avi! When my mum went to bed last night, I decided to try on my old bikinis and was so, so excited when I saw my new assets in them that I couldn't sleep! I've never worn a bikini in my life so I am hoping I won't think twice about it now! Yes, as time goes on, I'll get out and about, maybe treat myself to a new hair style or go for country walks. Just the initial thought of being alone when my mum has looked after me so well over the past few days really sucks. Eugh, bad drivers do my head in! Today I was super alert on the road as it was the first drive post-BA. I was making sure I stayed at a steady speed (changing gears aches!) and it made me very aware of how inconsiderate drivers can be. Sorry you were also cut up at a roundabout, but at least you know you weren't in the wrong! xx

Re: New avi :-)
ah well done goldi, a stone and a half is fantastic! kelly brook is around a 12-14 and she looks fab, so womanly with her curves, i bet you've got a lovely figure with the new boobies as well now :) im just exercising around 4-5 times a week, ive always gone to classes like zumba so ive just upped it now to include a few more 30 min gym sessions and im sticking to a calorie controlled diet with more veg and protein now to get the weight down. im hoping to book for october time for the op so by then i should be at my ideal weight as long as i focus and stick to it. need to use the boobs as my incentive!
hope you're recovery is going well hun, cant believe ur driving after just 5 days! excellent progress! xxx

Re: New avi :-)
Ohh to have Kelly Brook's figure...yes, I never want to be a skinny mini, it's lovely to have curves! Sounds like you're well on your way to your ideal weight. You put me to shame with your exercise classes, that's one way in which I fail. I can never get my bum in gear (literally!) Going to start walking as of tomorrow and see how far I get. I live in the countryside surrounded by lovely paths so I have no excuse really. October seems a great time to book, means that you'll be looking stunning in Christmas party dresses! xxx
P.S. Just noticed you're from Swansea, I used to live in Uplands!

Re: New avi :-)
yes gentle walking will be great for you, i read somewhere before that regular walking is just as good for toning as running is! ive started a new class called TRX which requires you to hold onto resistance bands attached to the wall and you do moves with this so it'll help build my upper body strength which is non-existent at the mo! once you start healing you could also try swimming to help strength your chest area too, great for the boobies again!
i love uplands, its a lovely area, i live just outside swansea im not in the centre but i work in the main city. were you a student here or did u just live in swansea? xx

Re: New avi :-)
That new class sounds excruciating! I definitely need to build my upper body strength and would recommend it pre-BA as my arms are killing me at the moment. One thing I've been doing at the moment is reaching a lot, which has caused a few stabbing pains so just remember not to reach for things so soon post-BA. Swimming sounds good, although I'm a pretty awful swimmer in all honesty!
Yes, I did my masters at Swansea Uni, I loved it! Uplands is great, and I used to cycle to the Mumbles every day, I miss it a lot! Are you from the area originally? xx
