So freaking frustrated
I know I shouldnt be doing it, and you're all going to tell me off, but I got the measuring tape out! Im just so frustrated at the results, as its clearly not true! So right now, im coming up at 31"/35", and on *every* bra site bar 2 this comes up as 36AA. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!! I mean, the mear fact that Im currently in a 36C proves it wrong! It doesnt stop the tears though, that feeling like you've gone through all this and are still at the start. Also, it adds huge annoyance now Im trying to buy running bras. Triumph say im 36AA, but I was gonna get 34C, 34D and 36C to try the fit. Now I havent the foggiest what to do, and i just want to scream.

Re: So freaking frustrated
Simple answer is what you already know Charleii - its not possible.
Those measuring systems have been having women in the wrong sized bra for years hun and that's the reason why they're scrapped and a 'fitting' is now used in their place.
If you want to know what size you are I'd advise you get fitted properly babe, but for better advise... Do wait till you get the all clear. Make it a special day. Like Christmas! It really WILL bring a big smile to your face and will help avoid any of this further frustration and upset hun Xx

You are not alone I measured myself and I come out at an an AA cup which is ridiculous as I started out as an A cup so I paid all the money to go smaller!!! Even I know this is wrong so I am going to get measured properly - not sure how this happens but I will be getting a refund if I finally get measured an AA cup!!! Xxx

Re: So freaking frustrated
Hi Hun, I did this too, so many sites are wrong and its def best to get a fitting at 6 weeks. However to get a rough idea if 31 is your under bust measurement they will prob fit you in a 32" band, possibly a 30 if comfortable. I then went on the diff between under bust and fullest part. 1"=A, 2"=B etc
It worked for me I am 30" under and 36" on fullest part and got professionally fitted as a 30E.

Thanks gals :) I just don't understand why these sites and shops are still using the old way and getting it so wrong. Crazy. Well, hubby has now decided I'm a 32E, but I struggle to believe that! It's far too hot for trying on bras though. I'll just have to suck it and see.
