Just wandering if anyone else has been taped up after surgery?  I have this thick tape under my boobs and all the way across the top of them too.

Anyone else?  shrug

That's normal Max.

Some surgeons bind with tape, some will use a compression bandage, some will use a binder that wraps and sticks and some won't have anything...

It just depends on the surgeon and what they're wanting to get the best for YOUR healing babe.

The tape can get a bit uncomfortable so be warned and maybe get someone when you get home to get you some cotton wool wadding so you can pad out anywhere were it might rub. Xx

yes i did. had to keep it on for nearly 2 weeks!! then when it was removed (owww) i was given micropore tape which i had to change every 3 days up until week 5 !!!

The one over my boobs is so annoying and itchy and its all wrinkled up, I think because the initial swelling has reduced, so ive emailed my nurse.  I bet she will want me to go in for a new one on.

Yey!!!  Lovely nurse said I can take off the tape from over my boobs but not under as that is giving extra support and protecting my incisions.

Took about 20 mins to get the tape off! Effing painful and has left me with red marks, but the ladies are almost free and feel wonderful, another pic to add to my trail and I can now update my avi which I will be doing this evening dance
