need help with post ba bras and strap please!
hi girls some of u no i had my ba on friday went from a flat Aa to a D 450cc unders, was told by surgeon to get a d cup high impact sports bra I got a 34 d and they put a huge binder strap round my whole chest which is really tight.
I noticed when taking strap off to shower that the sports bra really isint that tight round back or cups are not tight atal so sent hubby out for smaller bra he got a 32 DD which is much tighter back and tighter cups and since putting it on my pain is almost gone and feel so tightly supported but am now panicking that it is too tight and they are going numb an thats why they are not hurting as much!?
need some help i can worry my self silly about any thing!
Will I do harm having a bra that isint very tight? Or is this new extra tight one bad for them? Sorry if the post sounds silly im such a worrier! :(

Does it feel tight? Or does it feel comfy? Your surgeon may have suggested a larger back size to accommodate swelling. And even the very best of surgeons can only give guesstimates with regards to final size xx

If your boobs have 'gone numb' because of how tight the bra is hun, that's not right at all. If they were numb before that's fine... But if the tightness if causing the numbness then you need to sort that out lovely. The circulation to your boobs isn't right if the bra is causing numbness.
If by numbness you just mean you aren't feeling any discomfort from them now, but still have feeling in them, then that's fine hun. Having your boobs well supported will help to take the pressure off them, hence why you feel so much better. Xx

I would say if you can fit 2 fingers under the band and it feels comfortable then the bra is ok. Your boobs can feel numb after a BA for a good few weeks or months, but they shouldn't feel numb due to the bra. If you think the 32 may be too tight you may want to try a bra extender while the swelling subsides or you could try a 34C

A bra that's too loose or too tight isn't good, sounds like you need a different size x
