Re: August Buddies
Hello girls
I'm Bec, 35, 2 breastfed/expressed kids and about a 34b/droopyc
I'm having an uplift and implants at Spire Cheshire on 30 aug.... 34 days away to be precise, with Mr McGeorge. I only brought it up with my hubby in June and thought he would be a bit against it but has been so supportive and lovely and it's all flying by and the date approaching really quickly.
My consultation was v rushed as he was running very late on the day so I'm going back next week to ask a few more qs. My main concern is like everyone else.. size. I want to be bigger but I don't want to look unnatural or daft. He gave me a choice between 3.5cm projection and 4.5cm but I don't know the brand or what this equates to as a cc or cup size increase. I know it isn't an exact science and depends on what you have to begin with but I don't feel like I know with any surety whether I will be too big for my wishes or even too small. Anyone e,se had the cm terminology? Oh I'm having them over the muscle...
Also I have stretch marks from the kids and wonder if this is something I need to worry about with a BA because I'm obviously prone to them (on belly anyway)
Thank you in advance and I look forward to chatting with you August girlies

Re: August Buddies
Hi Bex!
I've had no experience with sizes in cm, I never actually discussed projection with my surgeon he suggested HPs because of 'the look' I showed him and I was happy enough with that. All the sizes I looked at were given in cc's. Do you know what you discussed cc wise?
As for stretch marks I'm doing as much as I can before the op i.e. certain moisturisers (Palmers and Bio Oil) and drinking lots of water and I intend on using Bio Oil etc... when my scars have healed post op.

Re: August Buddies
Hi Bex
The 1cm difference would to me suggest possibly implants in 2 different profiles? I only say this as i know in the sizes i was choosing between - 375cc and 405cc - there was only 1mm difference in projection. These are moderate profile implants.
Defo go back at ask more questions -some of the questions you may be able to ask via the clinic via email i.e what brand of implant they use

Just read back through all the threads...ill be watching yours with interest crispybacon as also having Mr. Khan :0) I was told the maximum size with uplift is 340cc but i was only offered 210cc (by Ms Lutz). Hopefully Mr Khan will suggest a bigger size!

Re: August Buddies
How cool :) I have actually told my oldest - but not telling my other 2 as i can just say they've grown! lol We're quite a transparent family anyway, so I just told him and he was just like "oh cool" he's then gone on to tell everyone he thinks of! Lol - but I'm not really bothered about people knowing because they're going to notice anyway I'm sure and I'd hate the whole awkwardness of people double taking in your boob area! I'd rather just get it out there - there are soo many people who are getting it done now that it's not so much of a taboo now. I went out last night with a large mixed group of friends for an emigrating party for a friend and one of the girls just bought up that she was 2weeks post op - we then went on to talk to another guy who said oh yeah I can count 5 people in this room who've had it done! I guess unless the conversation hadn't come up then I'd never have known :) x it's very normal these days - guess we're becoming more americanised!

Re: August Buddies
Thank you! That was just before my first op I only wore it once and my boobs won't fit into it now! Waaaa!! Lol.
I had a uplift (full anchor) and implants, one of the pockets is too big so he's putting a slightly bigger implant in, and having an extra bit of a lift while I'm in as they've dropped a bit more than I liked so he's tweaking a few things since I'm already going back for surgery on the pocket! How are you all feeling? I was so nervous first time but excited, it was amazing waking up with boobs again! X

I had unders, it was fine I had no pain at all! I enjoyed sitting with my feet up watchin tv and reading etc. the hospital I went to was amazing more like a hotel, staff were great and checking on me all night. I got myself up the mornin after and washed with wipes before family picked me up to take me home. Couldn't of had a better experience! Xx

Re: August Buddies
Lol I'm a bit more wobbly than I'd like as I haven't been able to train as much since last op as my right boob feels weird! Recovery was great I made sure I ate plenty fresh fruit veg and didn't drink alcohol and I'm sure it helped! The more nutrients, water and rest ur body gets the better it will heal. I had lots of time off after of as I'm a student so had 4weeks of not having to do much it was lovely!
