Sizing dilema! 375 or 405cc

I have read many posts on this, and know it is a personal thing but just can't bloody make my mind up!!

I am a 34a , size 10/12, 5ft 8" 9st7lb quite athletic/boy build i would say slim arms and legs but no waist and quite a big ribcage

I want a natural look, wanted to get to my pre breastfeeding c cup...maybe a small d

I saw 3 surgeons in the end, 2 or which were BAAPs/ bapras....the variations differed from 300cc high profile to 405cc moderates.  

I ended up booking with the surgeon that was suggesting the biggest...not because of that....just because i felt like he was the right surgeon for me.  My slight concern was the size...although i keep trying to listen to the posts on here that say don't get hung up on the cc, think about the look you want

so i went back to him for second consult yesterday before i booked...we tried on the 2 sizers again...being 375cc and 405 cc....i still couldn't really decide but ended up opting for the 405cc as his words were if in doubt go for the slightly bigger one

But now i am not sure again!  i am worried about looking too big

but on my frame/build....oh i don't know!!

i'm not sure i am at the status yet to look at peoples pics, but does anyone have similar stats to me and would share their experience?

I'm the same Hun, they havevordered 495 for me but im scared their too big. I'm going back on 20th 
July (11 days before surgery) to try them on again and hopefully I'll leave there knowing what I want. Did you take a few different tops/outfits with you to try the sizers on with?

Looking at other women's results even when they have the same stats as yourself and the same sized implants isn't going to determine the result YOU will have babe. Your anatomy will be completely different and its the little changes we all have that can give great variations in size.

If you're VERY concerned lovely, then either go back and see your surgeon again to discuss this, or maybe request your surgeon take both sizes with them into theatre and take your pictures with you of the 'look' you like and then ask your surgeon to use their experience to give you as close as possible the look you want from having the two sizes with them.

Surgeons get a much clearer view whilst you're on the table of what would look best for you.

Another question to ask yourself might be... When you wake up after surgery, would you be happier to be bigger than expected? Or smaller than expected? Which would you be most relieved to have?

I had the exact same dilemma as you, 360cc or 390cc. I got great advice from the girls and asked myself the same question that Cookie just asked. My personal answer was that I would be more upset if they were bigger than I was expecting so opted for the 360 (anything would be an improvement in size to me and you can get loads of fab bras to push up what is there) that's just my personal experience though xxx

thanks midgiebites....i think i agree with you...i think i would be more upset if i ended up bigger than i thought, as opposed to smaller than i thought...and exactly anything will be an improvement!!!

am i able to see your pic trail midgiebites?  i have no idea how i would know if i am "legal" yet to do this lol!

Hi jodioc, I am similar height to u, 5 foot 9 size 10 up top and 12 on bottom, I have quite big bum I think so really want to be in proportion! My surgeon offered me 360 low profile but I was worried not big enough so he did say he could go up to 445. 

Have u got the manufacturer chart with the implant measurements as I found out going from 360 to 410 meant 0.5 cm wider and 0.2 more projection and bit more on height. I'm having anatomicals as well. To put ur mind at rest see if u can see what the different measurements are for each implant.  It is kind of helping me!  Apparently I have quite a wide chest so low profile suits me.  But everyone so so different.

that is helpful...i just had a look...i can't find the exact size my surgeon has talked about, but near enough...i can see 378cc and 401cc (i tried 375 and 405 sizers) and yeah there is only 0.2mm in width and 0.1mm in projection!  that makes me think just size up!

i was told i have quite a wide chest too...think between 12.5 and 13cm

i was going to say have you checked the dimensions but seeing as you have and they're very close then i, personally, would size up too i think. x good luck deciding hun x

it seems so negligible, i think i probably will...also i guess if you feel you have the right surgeon...which i do...there comes a point where you have to trust their opinion x

Hi again jodioc, it's so hard and I keep thinking I'll just do 360 but my hubbie saying I should just go 410 but I'm so worried about being too big!! Anyway trusting my surgeon wouldn't place anything too large for my body I think I'm doing 410!!! So in a nut shell u can see how this goes for me!!! I feel ur dilemma as I am going thru exactly the same xxxxx

I'm also same sort if stats 5'9 34b and size 12 and I'm having 410cc after asking to be a DD xx

Would you rather be a little bigger or smaller than expected? that should answer your question. Plus it's easy to go bigger on a second op, going smaller is not.

Princess x, it's so true cos at least u can use bras etc to look bigger but nothing can do to look smaller. 
Jennifer and I are tall girls and size 12 so want to be in proportion. It's soooooo hard. 
Originally my surgeon said 360 so should I listen to this!!!!? But he happy to go up to 445!!?!?

i agree with specialkj i dont think your surgeon would ever place anything to big and he is going from whatever picture or description you have give him on what you would like to achieve xx

I have come to the conclusion from looking at manufacturer size charts, and trusting my surgeon to know what's best, to go or the 405cc. Specially do keep me posted on what you do :)

That's great you have made ur decision! U will prob do what I'm doing and have waves of uncertainty as it is all the in known!

I've been told to get a 34c and 34d sports bras with the 410cc. What have u got to get?

I have not yet been advised on which size bra to get...i have just emailed my surgeons secretary to ask if they can let me know asap as although i have the pre op for bloods etc the week before surgery, we then go to Camp Bestival for the weekend so i need to get organised before that!

He had said in my consultation should achieve a full c small d...so probably like you i will buy a 34c and d

i can't bloody wait!  i had a dream about my new boobs last night, it was fantastic!
