what can you do?
Hey being a typical girl I was gutted to hear you can't shower after op for nearly two weeks, is this case? can water affect the stitches?
Still can't decide 300cc or 340cc, I am currently a 34a/b, but dont want to end up any bigger than a d cup, hard decisions ahead. Really good to get some advice.

Re: what can you do?
Hiya Blue
I had shallow baths for a week after my op then i was allowed to get my dressing wet so they would start to come off, when they did i used to dry my incision with a hairdryer just so i wasnt rubbing anything on them.
not being able to wash your hair is a bit of a pain so definitely have someone on hand to help do this, my mum did mine for me and also Baby wipes are a godsend for the first few days.
Sizing is also one of the hardest decisions, theres lots to consider such as your stats and also the type of implant used brand profile etc, has your surgeon let you try the implants in your bra? or if not you could make some rice boobies also implants measure bigger than they look im a DD but only look about a C cup so this is also something to think about.
Lots of decisions to make hun, you will be fine though

Re: what can you do?
Every surgeon differs in their advice re: showers/baths!!
The smelly days are well  ........ The worst part of the journey.
I was advised I could have shallow baths untill dressings were removed....ten days I think..then as my healing was good I was O.K. to shower and wash my hair. It is difficult moving particularly your arms..though easier with overs.
You just need to get a strip wash, and plenty of wipes and deo., dry shampoo or a caring person to wash your hair. (or hide from everyone)
The first proper shower and hair wash is ....sheer bliss. Sorry not good news, but in hindsight well worth it. xx

Re: what can you do?
How easy did you find it getting into and out of a bath after your BA? Did you have someone to help you?

Re: what can you do?
I found it ok getting in the bath, I had overs though, so not much muscle affected.
I also got some surgical gel they use for bedridden patients and used that to 'wash' for the first few days, so I wasn't smelly. Nothing beats that awesome first shower though!

Re: what can you do?
Shallow baths and a flannel all the way! I think my surgeon said it was ok to shower after my 1 week check-up - but can't really remember now!
I had to get my mum to wash my hair every couple of days and I found dry shampoo quite good for inbetween days.
If you don't want to be more than a D, and it sounds like you've already got some tissue, maybe stick with the 300cc. It totally depends on your stats though. I'm quite petite and 255cc took me to a 32C/D (depending on the bra, but mostly D) and I had no tissue to start with. I'd say I look a C maximum.
Good luck with making your decision - I hated that part!! Although my ps made it clear that if I went any bigger I would look fake so I didn't have much of a choice really!

I just put a little step stool by the bath to feel more secure...It is the upper part of the body that is tight feeling !! Also, the mind is a strange thing.....I told myself.... I could get in and out safely...and I did. I was well aware there was noone around if I got stuck in there So, I mostly just laughed my way in and out to distract from my brain telling me my body aches. Then the laughing makes you ache  xxx
Oh!! the joys of boobs!!!!

Re: what can you do?
I had shallow baths with a flannel for the first 8 days, until I had my check up and the tape and bandages taken off.
My other half and my sister washed my hair for me over the bath but by the 7th day, I could do it myself.
I was a bit achey getting into the bath for the first few days - I had overs - but was fine after that.

I would go with 300 for D cup. And i couldnt shower for 1 week but you can still have a wash with a flannel so it was ok x

Re: what can you do?
I'd go for the 340s if you want a D cup.
I was a 34 A/B and was recommended 345s for a D cup.
I had 410s and am now a 34DD in M&S and a 34F in La Senza. I woukd say they only look a DD though.
What are your stats?
xx
