RE-OP??
Hi girls,
I had my BA 3 weeks ago on Wednesday and I cant help but feel a little disappointed with size. I know its early days and Cookie has reassured me there are many changes to come (Shes one in a million) but I am just feeling so down. I wanted a 32C - which I got! - but really not what I had imagined.
I keep going to book a consultation with my surgeon to go back and discuss my options - maybe a re-op... which I would definitely consider - but then I get nervous and back out.
Has anyone went back to their surgeon with size worries? What was the outcome? and Did you go for a reop in the end?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :(

Re: RE-OP??
your surgeon wont operate on you until you're at least a year post op hun, as even for complications unless its urgent they try and leave it until at least 6 months, so for a non-complication re-op as you have it will be at least 12 months so i'd say give it that year, see all the changes that you will go through because the majority of girls on here who say "oh i hate my boobs i need a re-op" in the first few month are totally happy come 6 - 12 months time. Then see how you feel at 12 months. But there are so so many changes to go through regarding shape and size xx

Re: RE-OP??
Thanks for your reply Nicole.
I know he probably won't operate for anything up to a year but me and patience are definitely not a good combination!! :(
Should I book a consult with him to express my disappointment or should I just wait for the changes? I keep going to ring the clinic and then chicken out lol xx

Re: RE-OP??
Hi g I'm going with transform so it may be different for you but a re-op because I'm unhappy with size isn't included in cover so if I wanted it sorted I would have to pay again and like Nicole said, after healing 100%...
Sorry you feel this way but again like you've already said, you still have so much healing to do! Hopefully in a few months your be feeling much better xxx

Re: RE-OP??
Aww hun x your very early post op and have loads of changes to come! Size is a big issue for most girls. And size perception is very different and varies a huge amount from person to person.
As you've already said, you got the size you asked for. Your surgeon did exactly as you asked, so you won't be able to get a re op through your aftercare. Also as Nicole has already said, your surgeon probably won't even consider a re op for at least a year.
When you are able to wear normal bras hun you may find that your boobs are a great size for you! I really hope things change and you start to see them differently xx
They look fab in your avi xx

Re: RE-OP??
G, honestly babe, you're still very early days.
Your avi is FAB! But I can tell you just from looking at that that your boobs are still high, they have yet to drop, settle and possibly fluff too.
You're only just at the start of our journey babe and a C cup?!!!!! HA! Babe you are NO Cup I can assure you.
I know its bloody hard when you can't see past the recovery period G, but honestly... MONTHS down the line, you're going to be looking at a very different pair of boobs than you are now. I know I can say "give it time" a million times over, but when you're going through that healing period it simply whooshes over your head. But its so true G. Time is going to bring changes and those changes will result in a nice surprise for you I'm sure when you go for your fitting day.
If you feel you need to speak with your surgeon then don't hesitate hun. Getting how you feel out and just knowing its noted can make you feel a million times better whilst you're waiting for those changes. Xx

Re: RE-OP??
Hi Girls..
I know they wont cover the entire price or use aftercarebut i have heard of girls who have recieved a significant discount for return customers. I would pay additional money to get the look im after.
Thanks Lisa! I do like the shape i just have a little bit of boobie greed! I cant wait to get some normal bras to enhance them. Sports bras are so unflattering!!:( xx

Re: RE-OP??
Discount would be good if you did go for a re op but like Nicole, Lisa and cookie said, wait it out more!! Give it time and try to stop stressing out because you need to heal so much more!! You havnt got your final result :)
When I have my op and If I have boobie greed please remind me what we said to you lol because I might need the prep talk too lol :) I think you look great in your avi and will be surprised what you measure! Once you get out the sports bras I'm sure your feel much better xx

Re: RE-OP??
Hey G. You sound right where I am! I was 3wk on Sunday. Not so much got the greed, and I am currently wearing the C I asked for, but in the sports bra and clothes, they look diddy! I've been in tears for 2wks now, they're too high and porny, my nips look weird, I'm gonna sneeze too hard and my muscle will come away and I'm gonna get uniboob...i know it's tough, and I know you really don't want to hear 'be patient, give it time', but it's true. I cannot wait to shed these sports bras and band, coz I feel so hunched and fat. But I have to. And then I can lose the weight and look fabulous. And Yeh, in 6-12m time, you may still feel the same and want the re-op. But until then, you're beautiful, and we're here. And I'm totes jealous of your cleavage xx
