Re: I'm all booked!!
I agree you should go for a size you like now as like you said even if you had kids in the next five years that's five years you could spend thinking you should of gone a little bigger but that's just my opinion :) xxx
Where would you say best to get arnica? Xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
Thats good advice...thank you. Its good to have a fresh opinion on things because you go round and round in your own head trying to decide!!
I got my arnica in boots, it comes in 6c and 30c and its the 30c your looking for. I think you can get it in other places such as holland and barrett but i found it difficult to find as its in a little tube. If you type it into the boots website it comes up with a picture of what it looks like, Blue and white tube :) xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
I got my arnica from an online company called Beneficial Health, was £5.99 for 84 pillules with free delivery. It was the cheapest I found aside from Holland and Barrett but they charged postage as well.

Re: I'm all booked!!
Weird that you say that lol...i feel similar. Im going on holiday two weeks before my op and i normally wear one with loadss of padding in from La senza, but ive thrown them all away and got some cheap ones from matalan that arn't really padded at all...i think its because we know that we will soon have great boobs lol...Also though i didnt want huge white tan marks because if i take pictures etc will look funny lol xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
Congrats! Bet you literally can't wait! Really not long to go now! I've also been thinking about this for 9 years and have had 3 consultations in the last 4 months I'd say and booked for another next month, I think I'll book another one to take it up to five! How many surgeons did you end up seeing before you found the one? I keep being advised 280cc but looking at lots of other stats this seems so small! Good luck :) xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
Jenniferrf1 this is the thing I think that the sizes I've had in My head are distorted! I've always thought I was small a B, but all surgeons have said I'm closer to a C and So I've said I want a D and nothing which is too big for my frame - I'm 5ft 2, 8stone and size 8. But I've done rice tests and feel 300 is really what I want, but as I'm having overs the one surgeon I've seen is really fixed on 280cc as he's also recommended high profile so maybe this makes a difference too. Now I've looked at more boobs I feel that D is not that big and I actually want DD but I don't know if it'd look ridiculous on me. Hmmm. Lots to think about still! Xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
Aww at 5'2 and size 8 you sound petite :) the 280s really will go far on a frame like yourself, imagine a 280 on a girl that was a size 16....it so depends on different factors :) and yes a high profile means more projection and a smaller base width of the implant which again will have been recommended for you when the surgeon took your measurements in your consultation so that they got in your body :) it all sounds great but if you think you want to go bigger then book another consultation to see what the surgeon thinks :) I'm booked in and am doing this because I think I want to go a bit bigger xxxx

Re: I'm all booked!!
No probs specialkj Mine were delivered today so are safely stashed away with my throat lozenges and cool packs haha.
LB1985, if you feel like you would like that extra 20cc then mention it to your surgeon. At my initial consultation my surgeon would not budge AT ALL on 340cc as I'm having a full lift as well. At my second consultation I said that I was really hoping for a bit bigger as I have got used to my existing 330cc's now after 9 years! I suggested 380cc and he surprised me by saying that he would be happy to go with 380!
At the end of the day you need to be happy with your result, and 20cc isn't a massive amount of difference in size but to YOU it makes a big difference! So just have a chat and let them know how you feel If they have their reasons for saying 280cc max then they can explain that to you.
Good luck for your next consultation!

Re: I'm all booked!!
Thanks for all the congratulations :)
I saw 5 surgeons (including a bappas registered one) until I found one I was 100 percent happy and comfortable with. In a way I'm glad I saw so many surgeons as they all more or less said the same thing about sizes and profiles so I don't have the worry of one saying one thing and another saying something completely different.
Good advice on the ice packs I'm going to get some of these as well. I've now started the long task of looking for a good sports bra for after I've been told to get a 34dd and a 34e xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
Hi Katiebrad, glad to hear it also took someone else a lot of consultations and time to find the right surgeon, I just wish mine weren't saying different things! I bet I end up seeing 10! It's great your clinic is so close too :) xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
It's so frustrating isn't it! I'm so glad I took my time though and it's defiantly true when people say when you find someone your happy with your know it straight away :)
Have you got many more consultations booked? When are you looking to have the surgery? In a way it's a good thing to see loads as when you do find the right one it feels so good and makes your think you have made a really good choice and not just settled with anyone. Xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
Yeah it's really frustrating, I just assumed it would be easy! How naive of me! I think I knew the bare minimum when I had my first consultation but I'm learning more which is good, just hope I'm not confusing myself doing too much research! I have another consultation with Simon Withey at Mybreast in a couple of weeks and ill also book with someone else for next month too then it will take me to 5! I'm flexible with timing really, I have a hol booked in sept so anytime after that. I hope I get that feeling of "the one" I know what I'm like though and I'm so reserved and don't let myself get excited or carried away and question everything! I'm a nightmare! Xx

Re: I'm all booked!!
Lol you sound exactly like me I question everything or il ask a question get he answer and then think of a question to ask about he answer nightmare lol. I never realised there was so much to take into consideration either until I found this forum I hardly knew anything and if it wasn't for being on here I would of prob ended up booking straightaway at the start of the year and making a huge mistake. Heard a lot of good things about Simon at mybreast and there's loads of good reviews around about him :) at least with seeing a few surgeons you can compare what they all say, have they been suggesting similar things so far? Xx
