Re: bikinis
Hiya, I tried on a couple of bikinis and things a few weeks PO but put my sports bra straight back on after. But you may get the all clear at 6weeks at which point you can treat them as you own. Xx

Re: bikinis
It depends babe. If they're wired bikinis, the some surgeons may give the all clear at 6 weeks, other 12 weeks. This is very dependent though on your surgeon and your own personal healing.
If you're buying non-wired, I'd buy as close as you can to your holiday and then go and have a try on. Don't forget that if you're still under instruction to wear wires that its unwise not to be wearing your sportsbra for 24/7 but we all have a cheeky try on but its putting the sportsbra straight back on afterwards most and to only try one or two on for sizing purposes. Once you have your size you've no need to try every bikini on. And trying any earlier could result in you buying a size that you might well grow out of by the time your holiday gets here due the vast amount of changes your new boobs go through.
One more thing to consider is that if your surgeon requires you to be in a sportsbra for the 12 week period you need to count out how long you'll be at that stage when you go away. Because if you're still in a sportsbra you won't be wearing bikini tops hun and may want to consider crop tops to hide your sportsbra instead.
If you're after 12 weeks with no complications then you can wear whatever you want lovely. Xx

Re: bikinis
Hey hun, Good luck for tues!! let me know how you get on.. mine is on wed ahhh :D
I asked my surgeon about holis which also 12 weeks (well 11 weeks and 6 days - not counting lol) after my BA. My surgeon said if all goes well he should be able to give the all clear after 4-5 weeks. Obviously this will depend on healing but he says swimming etc will be fine and to treat my boobs as normal once given the all clear xx

Sounds like you have a VERY good chance then babe xx
Re: bikinis
You sound just as impatient as me I'm going on holiday 8 weeks after my BA day. I've never been bikini shopping before. The bikini im wearing in my picture is really old and was given it by a friend. I think I may go overboard with new clothes etc when my new boobies arrive
Have a great BA day, wishing you lots of luck and excitement xx

Re: bikinis
Probably best just before your holiday, which will be great for you as the sales start in August so you should get some pretty sweet deals.
