Re-op :0( for cc after 2 years.
Hi all,
It's been a while since I've posted here so hello to everyone.
I originally had my ba on 16th June 2011 with amazing results although my lefty has always been harder. After a couple of trips to see my surgeon I have been diagnosed with cc. I am due to have my re-op on 11th June 2013 but only on the lefty??? Just wondering if this is normal, slightly worried I will end up uneven. Any comments will be greatly received to calm me lol.
Thank you
Xx

Re: Re-op :0( for cc after 2 years.
Has your breast had other symptoms than hardening hun?
Is the breast distorted? Has it enlarged at all?
Surgeons in larger clinics WOULD leave you with uneven breasts. Transform were very prepared to do this to me when I had a rupture and the symptoms left me breast twice the size of the other so my skin had stretched to accommodate the swelling. The surgeon I saw said that I could go bigger to even them out, but my breast were HUGE and he agreed I would look very out of proportion, he said he could only treat the rupture, which meant just replacing the implant, he said to put the same sized implant into that breast would be like throwing a ball in a sock and I would have severe asymmetry. This was all because of small print in my aftercare that although ruptures are covered, any adverse effects caused by the rupture are not. The only way to sort the problem out would be for me to have a full anchor uplift and I had to pay for that myself, although after a lot of turmoil arguing with Transform about their willingness to leave me with severe asymmetry they agreed to lower the pice for me to four and a half grand - nice of them hey....NOT!
So you need to go back and see your surgeon with your concerns hun. Ask his honest opinion about whether just replacing with the same sized implant would sort the problem out? I'm quite sure you would be able to go up in size if this is what you want and this may even them out for you hun, so do ask about that as well.
Presume nothing babe! Double check EVERYTHING! This needs to be done right so make another appointment to go through your surgery plan in more depth hun.
Sorry your having to go through this xx

Thank you blueeyesoul
It's not too painful at the moment but its hard!! Only 12 days to go and I'm back at Dolan park, it's just a risk we take with our boobs. Fingers crossed this new boob will behave and settle better without over scarring :0)
